Cutest little place around! Food was reasonably priced & everything was delicious!!! The owner of the establishment was personable, friendly & attentive. The atmosphere was wonderful! So much so, that we did something we almost never do....we stayed for a yummy dessert of peach cobbler alamode. I wiil be recommending to close family & friends & we'll most definitely be back!!! 😊

So, finally got here⭐⭐⭐ My MIL was a culinary teacher of this guy, and he didn't disappoint!!! She got the Catfish basket, and it was delicious!!! The sauteed squash and, zucchini was a standout, basically a win-win across the board. I got the infamous Mushroom Melt, and as you can see from others reviews, this apparently, is a favorite, and I could tell why. You could tell everything was made by the owner, and not out of the box, which I adore Super good, and will definitely definitely be back!!! If you're looking for a place to drop in, and aren't in a crazy rush, cos the owner is not only your host, but also the cook, and server, check out this place. If you're a 5+ party, call ahead for reservations. Bonus: closes at 8pm, which is also good.

Quiet and clean. Good service, and our food was good. I had the fish po boy. Husband said his mushroom melt was good. Second visit today, food was even better. The chicken hawk sandwich with slaw and sauce, best sandwich I have had in a while. The chili burger was awesome, too. I can't wait till the next visit.

The food was good. Service was super slow.... Only one guy working the whole time. Food was tasty but small portions and we expected bigger 🍔's !!! Price is about 12$ per person w/o drink. Thanks

We went on a day that happened to be the weekend of the Cave City Watermelon festival. Woodies had been extremely busy and by the time we arrived we were unable to get breakfast. Since it was later in the day that was fine I had the taco salad which was delicious. The meat was fixed perfectly and seasoned well, the combination of vegetables and salad was pleasing and quite tasty. Flour tortilla chips that made a nice addition and a nice change from the flour tortilla bowl it often comes in. I'm looking forward to going back, particularly during the week as I have heard such good things about it.

Best place in the state of Arkansas. Woodies will make the best plate of food you’ve ever had. Consistently. 11/10

This small but cozy little restaurant rests in the downtown area of Evening Shade. Very good food and very good service. A friendlier place you'll never find.
