This was our second time, and the service is always great but honestly just not a fan of the food. I’ve only been for brunch so maybe lunch food is better but I just don’t love the flavors, the biscuits and gravy are so so and the pancake didn’t seem cooked through all the way, and hash browns didn’t have a great flavor, their scrambled eggs always taste undercooked as well. I want to like it bc it’s so cute but just not my cup of tea.
We were looking forward to trying this place since majority of the restaurants we have eaten in Bentonville have been fantastic. This place was a disappointment. It took an hour for our food to be served and it was cold. The appetizer was served with our dinner. The flavors were wonderful but served at the wrong temperature. I gave it a 2 star because our drinks were served right away.
What happened to the classic Pressroom menu? The current one is a shell of its former self. My chicken salad was literally rubber and covered in salt to the point where I could taste nothing else.
Great food. Every time. Highly recommend.
Cheese biscuit with fried chicken and a spicy (not spicy) maple syrup. Omg YES! I enjoyed my aperol spritz as well. Such a great place on the square. And go ahead and get the fries as a starter!
Connor, Nadia, and Jade are the BEST. amazing happy hour, location, and views. Looking forward to visiting again!
Friend ordered rib eye steak which came with mostly fat and gristle. I ordered the baked chicken, which was barely baked, the brussel sprouts limp and greasy, the potatoes - some cooked, some still hard. My friend asked to switch to a burger, which they complied, and the other two at the table had burgers. The burgers were good. Service was also somewhat slow and mediocre. If you're going there, the burger is safe.
This has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in Bentonville! The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is happy to accommodate options for dietary needs! (Thank you for having a selection of delicious Vegan options!) The staff here is also very friendly and welcoming! Probably best service in Bentonville. Dylan A has been our server several times! He is very personable and customer service is top notch! Wonderful atmosphere!
Still early days of summer. Patio was open. Mimosas was good.
The food is so good! And the service is great for my book club.
Fell in love with ambience, very welcoming and charming. It can be slightly expensive but worth it. The avocado toast with mimosa combination was good. Espresso was spot on with the Breakfast plate.
After reading some of the older reviews of Pressroom, it seems like they successfully worked out some of those post-pandemic challenges. This restaurant was wonderful for Saturday breakfast! Quickly greeted and sat, coffee from Onyx was full-bodied and smooth, biscuit Benedict (veggie version), and the avocado toast was delicious -- perfect amount of fresh greens, citrus, and avocado mousse on top of a thick slice of brioche...just be prepared to not see the usual sliced avocado, and I also recommend adding a sunny-side-up egg on top so when you cut into it the runny yolk brings all of the elements flavors together. The decor, artwork, overall vibe, and pricing are in line with what you'd see at nicer brunch spots on all the coasts. Definitely a step up from your local diner, but well worth it if you're in the mood to treat yourself before/after some good hiking around Bentonville! Many thanks to the kind folks of the Victoria Bed & Breakfast (just a couple blocks from downtown) for the gift cards to try Pressroom!!
The service was excellent. The atmosphere was great. I wasn't crazy over their take on biscuits and gravy. The biscuits was delicious but the gravy was not what I expected. I grew up eating the sausage gravy my Grandma made in her iron skillet. To me that's the perfect "ideal" gravy. That's not to say the gravy was terrible. I think it would be better with mashed potatoes. It reminds me more of a hamburger gravy.
Excellent service and food and atmosphere. I highly recommend.
Amazing food and friendly service. Great for brunch.
Menu is limited, doesn't offer much variety, and a simple Ceasars salad which only offered lettuce, grated parmesan, croutons and a small amount of capers, which I had them hold the croutons and capers because I'm low carb keto, was $10 for lettuce dressing and grated cheese. They didn't hold the capers as I requested, so I had to have them fix the salad which they just scrapped of the capers, and brought the salad back to the table, to add a small portion of chicken would have been $7 more, and I though $17 for a very basic Ceasars salad was not worth that cost or a reasonable value.
We went for brunch on a Sunday morning and were seated immediately! We were a bit daunted by the prices, but when the portions came out we understood that the dishes were fairly priced, with huge portion sizes. The servers were all incredibly friendly and quick to help, and the food took no less than 10 minutes to come out! Easily one of the more delicious brunch places I’ve been in NWA, and we will definitely be coming back.
I've always had a good experience here. Good view of the square too, especially around the holiday. It's an easy go-to. Husband always gets the chicken sammies. Eight times out of ten, I'll get the gluten free chicken sammie. With a French 75, of course.
Biscuits are amazing. Chicken was delicious. All around very good.
We loved absolutely everything that we ordered, from the chili lime cream fries to the cheese plate to the kids mac and cheese to the pastrami sandwich
