I had an excellent "version" of a French Dip.

I have not been to the Turquoise Room for four years. At that time it was great and I dined there many times. Different now. Tonight's meal was not good. The Shrimp Pappadelle was drowning in too much sauce. The components of the dish were good but the soup bowl full of the cream sauce was overwhelming. The Cesar Salad was underwhelming.....a plate of romaine lettuce with a tasteless dressing that needed copious amounts of salt and pepper to make it palatable. Also, there was no parmesan cheese on top. $15....thankfully it was compted. The bread pudding desert would have been improved with a little cinnamon or nutmeg. Overall, it was an expensive lackluster dinner.

Great breakfast! Beautiful facility. GPS doesn't do a great job of getting you there, but be patient . It's worth it!!!

An unexpected find for a great somewhat upscale breakfast in Winslow, AZ. It is located in La Posada, an historic hotel designed by Mary Colter for the Santa Fe railroad. Outstanding service, great food, and a beautiful space.

Ambience 5 stars, Service 5 stars, Food 3 stars. My visit was predicated on 4 previous 5 Stellar visits. This visit was only disappointing on the FOOD level. Both the salmon special and the elk medallion entree were overcooked. Both dinners were left unfinished. Neither was worthy of the $40+ ... by a long shot. I LOVE La Posada, its a unique and valuable experience ... but dining in the Turqoise Room are no longer a fine dining experience.

We dined there last night and had great experience. My wife had the shrimp pasta which was very good. I had Colorado elk which was excellent. The wine pairings suggested on the menu were perfect and they were not pushing expensive wines as some restaurants do. Service was attentive but not hovering. Ebony was a great waitress! The manager even stopped by to check that everything was satisfactory. Would recommend.

If you are coming to Winslow, you should certainly visit the turquoise room. An incredible dining experience with the finest food from a great chef. I went with the pork Carnitas, they were incredible. The shrimp Pappardelle pasta was also extremely delightful. Service was great. I can only hope that I will be back.

Very good show April. The lunch was delicious, I had the pork, Brenda had the house soup and salad, best meal two weeks into our trip, and Stephen’s service was excellent. Our dogs were able to chill out on the cool stone floor, with a bowl ( we brought the bowl ) of ice water on a very hot sunny day. We are not gift shoppers but this one worked for us, staff was especially accommodating. And we were able to enjoy the art before and after our delicious lunch. Posada made our day! PS. Much thanks to Mike and Cindy from Charlotte NC for introducing us to Posada.

We stop here for lunch whenever we are in Winslow. The property is historical, the landscaping neat, and the service and food is exceptional. My wife had the Southwestern Vegetarian Pasta with chicken added. She thought it needed more flavoring. But it was good. I had Churro Lamb Posolé which was very enjoyable. Just the right amount of heat plenty of flavor to share with the pasta dish. Again, the service was excellent and a lovely atmosphere for a meal. We will be back.

Delicious, we ordered the soup to share, the tacos, and the pasta and they were all prepared excellently. Highly recommend stopping here! Have Kacee be your server! Her service was great!

We cannot pass through Winslow without stopping here, even if it’s just for pie and coffee like we had today. We’ve had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and have never had anything we didn’t think was top-notch.

I can't say I've ever become angry over a meal before, but after bringing a group of 8 here because they had vegan options, ordering the $28 veggie platter, and receiving what could be given no more gracious of a description than "unseasoned grilled veggies," many undercooked, I was embarrassed... both for everyone at our table that ordered this (not all vegans) and the owner/chef that let four separate plates leave the kitchen. I was even more embarrassed to have to bring this up to the server and manager, who likely have no say in the menu. Here is what we were served: One baked potato, plain and unseasoned One undercooked piece of broccoli, unseasoned Two well cooked pieces of asparagus, unseasoned One tamale, dry and bland Two or three long sliced half undercooked carrots, unseasoned Two half's of a single Brussels sprout, basically out of the fridge. Could barely bite into it Half an ear of grilled corn, it was fine A single grilled pepper.... It was a grilled pepper When I expressed our disappointment with the food (something I've never done) I was told this dish gets "very good reviews." I asked if he would eat this dish, he said "well, I'm not vegan." He offered to comp the meal and give us a free dessert, I said I'd be happy to pay for a dessert, but inquired what vegan desserts they had. He, appearing to have realized there weren't any, said he would go back and check. He then disappeared, never to return, and our waiter came and took all our uneaten plates away, brought us the bill, and that was that. Half the group, non vegans, were happy with their meal, but everyone agreed our plates were extremely underwhelming. Even the person who ordered the vegetarian version of this platter only ate the tamale. My guess is for their vegetarian dishes they rely heavily on cheese for flavor, and for vegans they just omit all dairy with no substitutes, which leaves lightly grilled veggies on the plate. I've never had a worse meal in any restaurant at any price p

I do not know if I have ever been more disappointed in a meal. Have previously eaten at the Turquoise Room as a vegetarian, so I was excited to see the vegetable platter could be made vegan. The tamale was great, but the rest of it was low quality - grilled veggies with no or minimal seasoning and no sauces. There were no substitutes for vegan vs vegetarian. Wish I had taken a picture to show you all, because it was truly an embarrassing offering for fine dining. Another person ordered the vegan salad and that looked great, which made me even more confused as to why there was no effort for the vegan vegetable platter. Do not advertise something as can be made vegan unless it is good. P.S. two other people in my party ordered the same thing and were equally disappointed.

The food was pretty incredible here, as was the environment. The restaurant is located inside a beautiful historic hotel with tons of character.

The resteraunt had an interesting atmosphere and nice staff. We had 2 meals here. The soup was ok but definitely not worth the price ($18). The carnitas were very dry. Dinner was sea bass and a bacon wrapped fillet, both were overcooked and dryed out. The fillet was overdone and looked like a lump of coal. Overall a very expensive place with poor quality food. Save yourself some money and eat somewhere else.

Great food, lots of history, a must stop after visiting the tribute to the Eagles "Standing on the corner" site. We've been several times on our way east from Prescott AZ. To Albuquerque.
