First time trying The Cafe. Have to say I was disappointed. We got the apple turkey sandwich and the burger of the week. Turkey sandwich was great and we loved the combo of pesto and apple on it. Burger was super disappointing. Ordered it medium rare and it came out almost raw in the center. Sent it back and they brought me back the same patty which I assume they microwaved as the center was boiling hot and half of the meat was well done. To top it all off, it didnt taste like the patty was seasoned. Sides were good and the wait staff was super nice. Don't think I'll be going back.
Absolute best tasting beef I ever tasted. I'm super picky about my hamburgers, but this beef was so good. Plus the pickled tomatoes were delicious. Sweet potatoes fries seemed fresh made. Excellent taste combos.
Love this place. Always so good. They forgot to update online menu and no longer have the three cheese sandwich. They called me and let me know and we made a substitute. They are awesome! I am bummed that they changed their onion rings! They used to be fresh and like beer battered or something. Now they seem like the frozen ones you buy at the store. Still good, but their onion rings are the main reason I go. Because of this, I probably won't go often anymore. They are still a recommended place to eat though! Thank you!
Went there for lunch. Their Burgers are amazing. The beef that they use is from a dairy there in Sonoita. Burgers were huge and sides were a great portion. 👍
This place was Great! Only problem was the kids chicken tenders, they were not! No kids menu, offered chicken and grilled cheese. Chicken tough and grizzly, boys didn't eat it. Burgers and sandwiches good, could choose a side with any sandwich. Plenty of food
Great place to stop in Sonoita for a burger. Limited food choices but the food they have is tasty. We stopped at 2 and the place was hopping. Be prepared to wait.
Waited an hour and a half for 2 burgers and 2 pastrami sandwiches. 2 of the sandwiches came out cold……not warm…..cold. Both burgers were waaaaay over cooked…..asked for med rare and got well done. Took another 15 minutes to replace the two sandwiches and another 10 for the burger. Asked for the manager…..never saw him/her. Not that I am looking for a free meal, but they never even offered to adjust the bill. It’s s a shame….place can be a goldmine, but not the way it’s being ran now. Not going back again…..
It was our third time visiting this establishment and once again everything was fabulous. We enjoyed the Ruben, a burger with onion rings and fish tacos.
Really good quality food, if they have the Baked Potato soup when you’re here, ABSOLUTELY GET IT!!! Best dang soup I’ve ever had in my life, I would buy buckets of it if they’d let me.
Burgers were very good and the potato salad was also really good
We picked the wrong day to visit for lunch. We visited on Mother's Day. Many people made reservations, we did not. There is seating outside as well as inside, but was too windy for us. We got a table inside after a short wait and after a 30 minute wait, gave our order. We waited an hour for our burgers. They did bring drinks and refills often. The food was good, fries were pretty but soggy. The onion ring batter was tasty but cooked so long the onion was disintegrated. Burger had good flavor. I will try the restaurant again when it's not a major holiday.
After a nice day of wine tasting, we decided to try The Cafe and we were not disappointed! The staff was very friendly and even recommended local wineries to try. Our food came out very delicious that even our visiting family was satisfied! We will definitely return here and let our friends know about this restaurant. Thanks!
Mother's Day...need I say more. This restaurant is very beautiful on the inside, unfortunately we sat out on the plain patio. Although we were happy to be seated. They did great job for being completely packed, both inside and out. We waited for our food a while. When the food arrived, it was great! The service was excellent! Thank you for working the holiday and serving us.
Love this place. I wish they were bigger so more of us could fit lol worth the small wait. Great staff and I love their food :)
Food was delicious! Especially for being so far removed from big city things. Very happy to find this spot!
Always our go to for luch when up wine tasting, a great selection of sandwiches and the sweet potato fries are a must. Very conveniently located and reasonably priced!
The Cafe in Sonoita has a good chef, consistently good food, lots of selections on the menu, a pretty large wine selection (cheaper on Thursdays when they finish off bottles), live music sometimes, nicely decorated, outdoor dining and nice views. About 40 minute scenic drive from Sierra Vista. We've never paid more than about $80 including wine and tip. You could spend more or you could spend a good bit less. Been going for years and anticipating our next...maybe on our upcoming anniversary. Rick and Peg F.
Excellent food, exceptional service. When I went back again, this time for carry out, they treated me so nicely while I waited that I left another tip - for take out!
Wow. Holy delicious burger, batman!! And for those who need it, they offer a good GF bun! Really appreciate d how friendly the counter service was for take-out.
Lovely Cafe in this small town. Food is quite good, and the music being played is exactly what I'd expect.
