Updated Review - 5/27/23: We went to the Black Cow Cafe a couple of days ago. It was so amazing, we had to go back again before we left Sedona. We are glad we did!!! It was even better the second time. The line was a little longer because it was Saturday night…. But the wait was with it! I had the Black Cow and my wife got the Calfagato again. They were both delicious!!! We completely and totally recommend the Black Cow Cafe! Check it out! —————————————————————————- Original Review - This place should be called “Heaven”. Because when we finished with what we got, it felt like we died and gone to heaven. Mmmm!!! DELICIOUS! The service was FAST and friendly! I got the Mocha Freeze…. And my wife got the Calfagato. WOW… they were both incredible! We are in Sedona all week and we will definitely be going back to the Black Cow Cafe! Highly recommended!!!

Had ice cream at several spots in Sedona and my wife was obsessed with their butter pecan ice cream. They also have prickly pear ice cream which is something unique to sample while here. They have other sweets, pies, etc. it’s a great spot.

I’m not kidding if I say that this place has the best sundae. I ordered the mocha latte sundae! Oh boy! It was mouthwatering. Don’t mind the line because it will be worth it.

Two scoops, $6.07, smallest scoops I've ever seen! I have had better ice cream

We were in Sedona four days and had Black Cow Ice Cream three times. We liked the flavor and the ambiance and the fact that it was a family owned whole in the wall on the main strip. It was also opened late and a lot of other things were shutdown, but the Black Cow was always open. There was always other people in the shop and we were greeted with a smile by the primarily young staff. It was good serving and even the small is two scoops.

Limited ice cream flavors, but a few really good ones are better than alot of mediocre ones. Great ice cream, good service.

Try the prickly pear sundae for something unusual! Pink prickly pear ice cream, toasted coconut, topped with whipping cream, and drizzled with white chocolate prickly pear sauce. Only thing better than this is a prickly pear margarita, which they do not serve.

Never get that "Gonna regret it later" feeling with this ice cream. Loving staff, heartfelt clean ingredients! My only go to place for ice cream.

Very thin milkshakes. $8 for peppermint flavored milk, so disappointing. You shouldnt be able to pour a milkshake from the mixer into a cup that casually. Would never get a milkshake from them again.

The place was awesome home made ice cream. Really wanted to try the pies too as they looked amazing but had to keep myself in line :) The malted vanilla was really good and a fun spin off of traditional vanilla. Good service too. Thanks guys.

We stopped here for a local Ice Cream. It is a popular shop in the small town of Sedona.
