Out of the way a little but the food is wonderful. Homemade biscuits. Helen was our waitress and she is a real treat. My daughter said the pancake was great and hashbrowns are cooked to perfection.

Travel to Quartzsite for work biweekly and just discovered this place. Best food I’ve had in the area for sure.

I've eaten at Mountain Quail several times and the food has always been excellent. The staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. They also have a selection of souvenirs from local artists and t-shirts.

Quartzsites best kept secret for quality food. Been to all the places and Mountain Quail is #1.

Very nice small Cafe. The food was good and our server was friendly and attentive. We didn't ask but it really seemed like a family run operation. It's not right off the highway but it wasn't hard to find. Good choice for a quick bite.

If you are stopping in Quartzsite, do yourself a favor and get some real food. Ditch the fast food and the junk snacks from the convenience store, and go to this wonderful little spot that makes a pretty solid breakfast. It's a few extra minutes off the highway, but trust me, your family and your gut will thank you for making the trip. On top of it, the employees are kind and helpful folks who work hard to make sure you're having a good meal.

Service is excellent food was absolutely delicious limited on the parking in my opinion if you have anything large you need to go. Go north off main street 1/4 mile.

The food at this family owned diner is great. It was seat yourself tonight. The staff was fast and friendly. Food came out quickly and was very hot. We will definitely go back. I hear they have a great breakfast too.

Its a fantastic place to eat and it gets kind of busy the tables seat 4 or more so we offer to share our table with other couples which is actually really fun!

Mountain Quill is, in my opinion, one of the BEST places for really excellent good in Quartzsite. Sure, you could go to McDonald's, but why? Mcdonald's is MORE EXPENSIVE for a burger and fries than Mountain Quail and the food isn't nearly as good! This trip I had a Turkey melt on Sourdough with Onion Rings. You can't get either of those that are worth having anywhere else in town. The food was, as it always is, simply perfect!!! Hot Turkey, Bacon, Tomato, Cheese on toasted Sourdough bread? Oh my! And the Onion rings have this stunning beer batter crust that is SO HARD TO FIND. If you love onion rings, Mountain Quail is worth a visit for the option rings alone!

Nice small cafe. You might have to wait for a table, and you might share a table with people you don't know, but food is excellent, service was great.

Debbie is a great server. Says I'm sorry to often. But really cares about the customer. However the server named Jill is a different matter. Has bad attitude. Rude to customers. Asked her to smile and was told eat somewhere else. I love the food but not the attitude. We spend over $30 every time we come in. Maybe we should eat somewhere else and take our friends with us. Would never dine if my server was Jill EVER.
