Local gem with Southwestern and Vegan options. French toast dipped in orange juice! Awesome attentive staff. Tasty bold coffee. Bright fun environment! Good for locals and visitors ! TIP: You can get 20% off gift cards for The Local @ Costco.
Supposedly they specialize in food allergies. I am vegan and have food allergies. But every time I have eaten there, dining in or take out, there has been an issue with the food. A few times there has been meat in my southwest sunrise. Also non vegan aioli sauce has been served with the food, without knowledge of this until after the fact. My son in law has an egg allergy and was served regular eggs. Even though we ordered the vegan eggs. They're not very conscientious about the food they are serving. Be warned if you have food allergies.
Love The Local! The food and service are always excellent! The restaurant has a very fun vibe.
Been here a couple times and the food is always outstanding.
Amazing food. We all had different meals and no one was disappointed. It was a little slow to get food but it was Mother's Day and busy so I get it. A little loud, but we loved the art throughout.
My potatoes came out cold, but they had no problem getting me a hot batch. Mya was a great server. Food was very food, loved the vegan options.
This place has a very unique menu and outstanding food. It's popular, and noisy, so keep that in mind when waiting to get a seat and trying to hold a conversation. They have a bargain at the front desk where you can buy an $80 card to cover $100 towards your meal.
We really enjoyed this little restaurant. They had many unique options. The gluten free zucchini bread was amazing! Great food and service. 🙂
Delicious food! Amazing gluten free options
Very cool unassuming from the outside local restaurant with an awesome vibe and art hanging around the place. LOTS of southwestern flared vegan and gluten free options to choose from. had the legendary biscuits and green chile sausage gravy, definitely want to come back for the pancakes!
We had a nice breakfast here. Our first time. Well definitely be back.
Always great food and great service! This is our favorite place to have breakfast on Sunday morning.
Snotty, undercooked whites and old, brown-veined avocado were features of my Broken Yolk Sammie. The side smashed potatoes were unseasoned boiled potatoes just smashed - completely flavorless. Those were the good parts of this breakfast. The undrinkable bitter coffee had an awful taste i could not define. I gave this place a second try after having had a sausage pie that had no sausage and over-spiced odd flavored vegetables. I won't be back.
Their food is so fresh and tasty and the latte was incredible!
Overpriced, understaffed front reception with no team work, and do not order "to go" orders from this place on the weekend it's insanely packed and they get your orders wrong
Ordered to go. Picked up order and had to ask for the coffee and sugar and utensils. No biggie. By the time I got to the car the salad had opened and was mostly on the bottom of the bag. Headed down the hill homebound. Fifteen minutes later we figured out our bacon order and the syrup for the pancakes were missing. We paid for them. I called and asked the manager manager to refund my bacon. He said he couldn’t, that he was really slammed and I should call back later. Seriously! He offered me a gift card or my bacon if I would come get it. I gave him my number and asked him to call me back when he had time to refund me for what I didn’t get. He didn’t call me back. To top it off the pancakes tasted like rancid oil. Yuck!
The place was clean and the atmosphere was nice. However, all the food was bland and the cappuccino tasted burnt. Our server was nice and attentive, but he didn't know the vegetables of the day. Then one of our items didn't come out and we had to ask for it. To top it off our item didn't come out with the vegetables of the day. Probably wouldn't return.
Great service and polite staff. The food was sub par unfortunately. It is very clean cooking so no grease or very little and most things are freshly made. Unfortunately they don't really season anything. The gravy was good but everything else tasted bland, the hints I could pick up were from other foods which leads me to think they cook one dish over the other without cleaning the grill. So be careful if ordering vegan or other cross contamination style items. I used salt and pepper but didn't really recover the dish, my wife and I opted not to finish the food but the drinks were great.
Another place that lives up to the hype and all the rave reviews. The food is excellent and tastes fresh and "natural". The service is outstanding.
Cute spot I had breakfast at a couple times while in Prescott. Service was good, food was yummy! I could drink that chili verde sauce! Sweet potato mash soooo good too! Menu might seem a little pricey but that seems to be the way of the world these days, at least there’s still some sweet people out there! Wish I knew of a spot this good in my hometown
