Excellent coffee shop. Service was great. Barrista was knowledgeable, efficient, and organized. Selections were fairly traditional. Pastry options were nice. Atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable at 7:30am on a Friday morning.
The whole place has a cool vibe and setup. There are several businesses at this location.
Bar none, the best flat white I've ever had. And I've had more than most. This is my go to espresso drink and they nailed it. Friendly service in a pleasant atmosphere. Will be back during our 4-day visit to Prescott.
One of the best parts of our visit to Prescott was this place. The menu board is mesmerizing. Don't miss the blueberry bran muffins. The large lattes have four shots of espresso!
Tried one of the holiday flavored lattes. They were out of eggnog so I got the snickerdoodle. I also purchased a couple of cake pops. Because there was only barista that afternoon, there was a bit of a wait as she had a three person order ahead of mine. She kept her calm and worked as quickly as she could.
I am so glad I visited this place! This place is so elegant, just wish I had more time to drink some beers here. Customer service was great, very nice staff and the mocha I ordered taste amazing! Really love the bold taste of espresso.

They messed up my coffee normally I never have any problems but I guess you need to be a coffee expert to order any kind of coffee.

Too high brow
Merchant coffee inside founders is a favorite for many reason, one being they are open early! Their espresso is super flavorful and every iced coffee I've had is refreshing and not too sweet. Its nice to grab a coffee and sit on the back patio by the creek or just walk around the downtown. bonus their menu board is one of the most original things i've seen **must see

So the building here is extremely cute! Definitely loved the atmosphere, I got an oat milk mocha, however there was little flakes on the bottom of my drink and I couldn’t really tell if it was the oat milk or the mocha sauce or something else lol. Kinda disappointing but the shop was cute ☕️✨
When on vacation, I often spend the mornings in a coffee shop enjoying a mocha (chocolate and coffee are the best combination), and spending time reading while listening to my favorite music (something I never do at home). It always help if the coffee shop has comfortable seating and a delicious coffee/chocolate mix. Merchant Coffe had everything I was looking for. I'm only sorry we are leaving tomorrow for Flagstaff. I would absolutely go back to the Merchant as the Mocha (they use a chocolate I've never heard of) was the best, and the atmosphere was perfect for a quiet morning. They also have a Barber shop, beer tasting and about 25 beers on tap, and a Whiskey and Cigar room. Give this place a chance - don't wait until the end of your visit to Prescott to go to this place like I did!
Really great place. Coffee is of high quality and the service is always quick and friendly. They have a good knowledge of traditional espresso drink such as cortados, braves, ETC. Highly recommend these guys if you want some good coffee
