Great breakfast place. Plenty of food on your plate. Two people could probably split a meal and not leave hungry. Like most places they could use more help. The wait staff were very friendly and the food was out quick.
We went Easter morning, so that might have had something to do with the experience, but this place has gone downhill, foodwise. We split the chorizo scramble cowboy side and it was really icky. It was all mushy like a pudding. They probably had a new chef who doesn't understand how to cook a scramble. It had a good flavor but the texture was nasty.
We waited for quite some time for someone to seat us. It wasn't very busy. The waiter did not listen to our order did it incorrect and he would come by and say things but wouldn't stop to listen. his service was horrible we won't be going back there again
Our server had a lot of energy for being late in the day. (We arrived near their 2:30 pm closing time.) Unfortunately, some of the menu items were not available, but their Cowboy Chili and their Cowboy burger were delicious. The meat was juice and hearty. If you're looking for a western style restaurant to complete your downtown Prescott (pronounced Press-cut) experience, then drop in for more regional color.
Stephanie was our waitress and she was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! Took 40 mins after being sat just to get drinks. She paid more attention to the other tables that arrived after us than our party of 11. It will be a good while before we go back
Dont trust the 4 star reviews this place was horrible!!!!!! Staff member Austin especially, this place was all around just awful. Waiter Austin was rude and impatient when asking questions about the menu. Food was comparable to Dennys... Austin stated our table was a waste of his time. I regret leaving him a tip. It wasn't busy at all during lunch time I guess I see why. Save your money. You're better off eating McDonald's.
Friday morning and were out of what each of us wanted to eat that morning, brisket for my wife's Benedict choice and Canadian bacon for my choice of breakfast. Ordered different things and asked for crispy hash browns - instead they were undercooked.
If you want the wait staff to ignore you the whole time, then this is the place to go. We ended up leaving after several other customers got seated, drinks, and food delivered while our group got nothing.
Huge breakfast! Great way to start the day. Staff was friendly and quick!
Horrible service. Coffee had grounds floating. Server commented that's the way it comes out of machine. After a long wait to order many of the menu items weren't available. This was at 8:45 a.m. We decided to leave.
The biscuits and gravy were excellent way too filling I'm glad I only got one biscuit with my eggs. Surface was impeccable.

Ordered steak and eggs. Half my sirloin was gristle. The waiter asked if I needed a to go box. Oj, coffee, water, 6 oz. Steak and eggs, 2 eggs, single piece of toast. Fruit. 28.00 well, not again

I highly recommend this cute western themed restaurant! My husband and I were up here in Prescott for a weekend getaway, we jumped on Yelp to find a good breakfast spot. Great food pictures are what help make our decisions on where to grab a bite to eat most of the time. The pictures we saw did not disappoint at all. So glad we chose this place. The environment was very inviting! From the gentleman that greeted us when we walked in, to the gentleman that was our server, everything was great! Food was absolutely delicious, portions are hearty! If you're in Prescott,AZ, you definitely need to come here! Thank you Lone Spur Cafe! You guys are AWESOME!!
Just had a terrific lunch and service to go along with it! Not a pretentious place, just a spot for a nice lunch. Full value.
We had a group of seven people- three from out of state. The food was okay... I couldn't bite through my chicken breast... Had to take it off the sandwich and cut it into pieces. I didn't say anything because we had a large group and everything was so chaotic. The salad greens were wonderful! Our waiter tried to be funny- and he was at first- but it got tiresome. Please let him know that it was not okay for him to throw the straws and napkins at/to each person or slide full cups of soda across the table. Please teach a bit of serving etiquette- like- don't reach across people to serve... So much so that your shirt sleeve was touching my face and hair and your elbow touched my nose another time. Thanks in advance for trying to make things better.
Great food! Skillets and brisket benedict was awesome. Our waiter was very attentive, helpful and friendly.
Prices are great, especially compared to other restaurants in the downtown Prescott area. The food was delicious and the service was amazing, especially if you get Austin as your server! He is attentive, kind, and has awesome tattoos 😁
I had the pleasure of eating at a local favorite and help the small business out. If you're ever in Prescott, AZ I strongly recommend this establishment it took less than 5 minutes from when I ordered my French dip sandwich until it came, it was hot, well put together, very succulent and filled my belly. Did I mention the service was fast?
