I love visiting Jobot because it is one of the few spots that has survived gentrification in downtown Phoenix, so it's a classic and important community space. Plus, I love that Jobot features other local small businesses, including a kitchen run by some of my favorite in chefs in Phoenix: Arepa Babe, an amazing Colombian food experience (arepas, pandebono waffle, soups, all the breakfast and brunch comfort food); and Toduken, a Filipino inspired BBQ with delicious creations that hit the spot every time.

Best place to work, vibe and hangout in downtown Phoenix.. Jobot is a gem and an authentic downtown Phoenix spot. And now they offer Philippine BBQ.. absolutely amazing..

We came to try the food, which is prepared by Toduken, and it was wonderful. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, papas bravas, pisto, and longanisa torta. The Brussels sprouts were perfectly cooked, beautifully caramelized, tender but with some crisp, just enough dressing and puffed rice to accent every bite; papas bravas were lightly crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy inside--our favorite dish of the meal, so carefully done, and the spice level was just right to compliment the potatoes' texture and buttery sweetness; the pisto was bright and refreshing, and the egg was perfectly cooked and did its job adding richness, cutting through the tomato's acidity; and the longanisa torta was comfort food, with another perfectly cooked egg, yummy housemade longanisa that focused more on savoriness and umami than sweet store-bought versions, a quick kimchi that cut through the fat and richness, and a soft, fresh telera bun. The service was quick and so helpful, and the Sunday beats were a nice nonstop blast from the past that gave a kinda dance club vibe. We find free parking for roosevelt point customers in the south structure of Roosevelt Point, so try there if you can't find parking on the street.

Coffee is good but service is AWFUL. Waited over 30 minutes for our food. When we asked where our order was, the server did not care. He didn’t bother to check and just said “there’s something in the window that could be yours” and left it at that. We had to eventually go back a second time to ask what happened to our order and still nobody knew what was going on. We got a refund and left. This was my second time visiting in two years and even at my first visit my order got skipped. I guess nothing changes.

I've now tried night menu for weak days and weekend. Teriyaki beat but a little over for the thinness of the meat, dipping sauce was good. Also got the crab Rangoon very good and plenty of filling. They have a day menu that look good as well but have yet to try

We stumbled in here pretty drunk and ordered the Szechuan chicken. It was warm, tender, spicy and juicy, and possibly the best take-out style Chinese chicken I’ve ever had. The service and atmosphere were great too.

such a great experience here as I was taking myself out on a solo date to continue my birthday celebrations. the staff are super fun and nice, really made me feel welcomed! I don't venture much out of my usual breakfast sandwiches but the Torta breakfast sandwich and side of home fries was DELICIOUS with my glass of pineapple mimosa. Thanks to the staff I also was able to enjoy delicious and creamy Melt phx ice cream which they sell indoors. all around great local vibes. they even told me there would be a Banda playing live tonight. they just do it all here! the restaurant is also in a great area, I really hope they continue to expand and grow. i will definitely be back!

Jobot took my by surprise, I thought we were gonna swoop in for a coffee and a quick breakfast. This beyond delicious, we’re going with a euphoric meal! I asked the nice women at the counter what’s the thing to get she said the Juevos Rancheros. I got mine sunny side up and my god it was good, crunchy on the bottom, perfect amount of spicy kick balanced with the runny egg yolk. My mouth just began to water, my fiancé got the waffles and they were crispy and fluffy a banger in itself! Go eat here.

Spectacular Thai food, delicious ice cream (from Melt) and good vibes. Awesome local spot to grab coffee, local tea (from Cha Cha's off Grand), and drinks. If none of that is enough for you, go for the great staff that takes pride in what they're creating and will make you feel special.
