1st time and it was a good coffee. I got a iced caramel latte. The drive through was quick. The lady was very nice. I will def be back next time I’m in town.

Very delicious bagels and one of the best coffees we had during our stay. The staff are friendly and the coffee shop has multiple breakfast options to meet anyone’s cravings.

Every single time I go my drink and my food order taste completely different. I order the exact same drink every-time I go ( green tea chiller with oat milk ) and some days it’s wayyy more red, some days it’s wayyy more blue. Some days it is gross and some days it’s the best thing ever. Same with my sandwich, some days it’s cold some days it’s hot, some times it’s good sometimes it’s really gross. On the days things are good they are VERY good, but it just feels like this place has no consistency what so ever! Feels like every worker makes things their own way rather than following a system. I’ve talked to multiple other people and they’ve had the same experience of extreme inconsistency! Also, have had some experiences of staff being bland and borderline rude.

Delicious bagels, smoothies, and baked goods. The handmade bagels are the real highlight here. My sundried tomato bagel was made with actual tomatoes instead of just tomato flavoring. I'll definitely be back to try more bagel flavors!

I really want to like Copper Star as I live in the neighborhood behind it, but after 2/3 years I'm walking away, and the main reason is due to customer service. It's unfortunate, because while it's true that so many people that work there are so kind and welcoming, there is one girl/person (I hate to assume gender, but I don't know their name) at the cash register who is just not that at all. I went in today and ordered just under $30 worth of food, and greeted them and asked how they were; I was responded to with a curt smile and silence. Okay, cool, moving on. I give my order, which is kind of a rocky experience. I then wait 30 minutes, which I'm not sure is reasonable or not for 3 breakfast sandwiches. Outside, I notice that one of the breakfast sandwiches isn't toasted, and the tomatoes on it made the bagel very soggy. This is just one example, unfortunately, among a myriad of examples including poor service, incorrect orders, and extremely long waits. I understand this is a popular place, so my review is likely meaningless. But after reading similar one-star reviews with content like mine, I'm hoping the owner (who I've only ever had positive experiences with) is made aware that this is a real trend, so that they can work with their employees towards some kind of solution to this issue.

We loved it so much we went twice in two days! A personal favourite was the sun-dried tomato bagel and pesto cream cheese

I love This place! Everyone is always so smiley and really their energy is contagious. It’s not always easy to be happy or look happy at work so I really respect it! Also, they are so organized and come to your car to take your order or you can go in. They are constantly checking on you to see if you’ve been helped and there actually seems to be enough workers!!! I think a lot of other small businesses should look to copper star as an example!! :)

My daughter and I just moved to the area. Went to get coffee and a breakfast sandwich and was not disappointed. The staff was helpful and our items were a perfect 10. We definitely will be back

This has become one of our go-to spots. Great coffee and the bagel sandwiches are legit! Closest thing to a NY BEC you can find.

Update: the same person forgot to make my smoothie twice within a matter of 10 minutes and had to be reminded twice to make it until another employee picked up the slack and made my smoothie. Had to ding them one star for service. But I know they can earn it back, so I'll keep coming Probably in my top 5 little coffee shops I've ever been to. The baked goods, especially their specialty -- bagels -- are all world class

I’m disappointed that I’m writing this because my wife and I have really enjoyed their coffee and bagels for several months now but we’ve struggled during that time to receive good service from most of their baristas (there are a couple that are great). There’s an attitude of “I have better things to do”, an attitude of apathy, like they are annoyed that you’re taking up their time. Like we spat in the coffee. Not hospitable, not kind. This sucks because they claim to be such an inclusive place which would, in my mind, entail some kindness, and they have good product. Copper Star has been good for us because it’s close and the product is tasty but despite this, after today’s visit, that is no longer enough to keep us coming back. There are spots in the area who will treat my wife and I (and friends and family who have been there too and report the same feeling) with more kindness and hospitality. So, goodbye Copper Star. You’ll do fine without us, you’re very popular. Just know we’re walking away a bitter taste in our mouths and hope that your people become kinder.

I like to support small business areas, but this was blah. I had Entertainment Book coupon and the manager/owner? literally rolled her eyes at me and said "whatever" when I asked if I could use it there as it was this particular location that was advertised! Nice cashier though. Parking is TERRIBLE so plan extra time. Coffee is mid and sandwich was greasy and tasted super olive oily with being soggy. Would not go there again if I had a free coupon!
