We booked a bike rental for 10 am but came earlier at 8 am, staff was very helpful and accommodating! We biked down to Hermit’s Rest and took the shuttle back, took 4 hours.
Welcoming atmosphere, friendly crew. They were singing along to Michael Jackson and Bon Jovi while I was in there. Got the iced Chai latte which was very good. Great place to grab some food/water/Gatorade before setting out on the trails, as well as after finishing a hike to replenish. Highly recommended
Convenient location. Knowledgeable staff. I reserved bikes in advance, but even walking up the process was super easy. We ended up having an issue with one of the bikes but they quickly swapped it out and we were on our way again. They have great directions and helped us map a route. We arrived early to watch the sunrise and then grabbed a coffee and bagel at the shop while we waited for them to open. It was perfect. I would absolutely rent from them again. Such a great way to see the Grand Canyon. Can cover a lot more ground than walking the rim.
During my recent e-bike adventure at the Grand Canyon, I was thoroughly impressed by the level of professionalism exhibited by the staff. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable and safe experience. Allow me to share my thoughts on their exceptional service. The staff members were incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything we needed to know about riding the e-bikes. They provided clear instructions on how to operate the bikes, adjust the settings, and make the most of the electric assistance. Their expertise and guidance made us feel confident and prepared for the journey ahead. Furthermore, they offered detailed insights on the various trails within the Grand Canyon. They provided recommendations on which routes to take, highlighting the scenic viewpoints and must-see areas. Their comprehensive knowledge of the trails helped us plan our ride effectively, ensuring that we wouldn't miss any of the breathtaking sights the canyon had to offer. What truly stood out was their commitment to safety. The staff emphasized the importance of following the rules and regulations, as well as provided tips on how to navigate the trails responsibly. They made it clear that our well-being was a priority, and they were readily available to address any questions or concerns we had throughout the journey. Their professionalism extended beyond just the initial instructions. Whenever we encountered the staff members along the trails, they were friendly and approachable, making sure to check on our progress and offer assistance if needed. Their warm demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere, and it was evident that they genuinely cared about our experience. In conclusion, the professionalism and guidance provided by the staff during our e-bike adventure at the Grand Canyon were outstanding. Their thorough explanations, trail recommendations, and dedication to safety created a seamless and enjoyable experience. Their
Super convenient bike rental for beginning cyclists... As far as I could tell they just have comfort/ "cruiser" bikes (7-8 speeds) and e-bikes. Lots of kids bikes and tagalongs for little ones. The person checking us out didn't want to take the time to adjust the saddle on my Dad's bike after we told him it was uncomfortable/ a poor fit. The saddle tip was tilted too far up. Next time, we'll make sure to insist. It was bearable for our 27 mile ride, but would have been a lot better if the seat was correct.
I recently visited this cafe and had the pleasure of trying their Raspberry Latte. Let me start by saying it was the best flavored coffee I have ever had. The combination of rich espresso and the sweet-tart raspberry flavor was absolutely delightful. It provided a refreshing twist to my usual coffee routine, and I found myself savoring every sip. In addition to the Raspberry Latte, I also indulged in their pastries. I must say, they did not disappoint. The pastries were delicious, with a flaky and buttery texture that melted in my mouth. They had a variety of options to choose from, ranging from croissants to muffins, and each one was crafted with care and attention to detail. Overall, my experience at this cafe was exceptional. The Raspberry Latte was the highlight of my visit, exceeding all expectations and leaving me craving more. The combination of the flavorful coffee and the delectable pastries made for a truly memorable culinary experience. Whether you're a coffee lover or simply looking for a cozy spot to enjoy some tasty treats, I highly recommend giving this cafe a try.
The Yaki Point tour was scenic, smooth, and informative! My favorite part was learning about the human history of the Grand Canyon. Plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures! Shoutout to Nate for leading a great tour!
Add Bright Angel Bikes to your list of must-do experiences at Grand Canyon National Park. Using one of their remarkable e-bikes, I was able bike along and near the south rim and enjoy a crowd-free ride. The greenways near the rim and away from the rim are all scenic and shaded. It is easy to jump off your bike, secure it and explore more at your leisure. Bike paths are clearly marked and the park is very navigable. I had a full-day rental and was able to see everything on my list. Great staff and an attentive team to answer questions.
We had a wonderful experience with Bright Angel bikes during our recent trip to the Grand Canyon. To maximize our time, we opted for the Hermit Road Shuttle which allowed us an easy ride with amazing views of the canyon. It was easy to reserve online prior to our arrival and everyone we worked with, was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend a snack from the cafe as they have an assortment of sandwiches, bagels and treats to enjoy before you ride. However, you need to arrive early for your check in if you want to eat because lines can be long.
Great sandwiches and helpful staff but terrible store arrangements that do not cater to having any kind of line. You will feel very pressured to make a fast purchase decision without knowing all your options if anyone else is waiting to buy food behind you, as your selections are in the line to pay and cannot be seen from outside the line. Food was great, however overpriced, and the overall experience was unpleasant.

Had a price list that was incorrect. I asked to pay the price that was listed. Then gave them the sign so they could correct it. Rude responses. Also bike rentals but no place to lock a bike along the rim trail or most other places we rode. Exception was the market. Only bike rack we saw.
Because of changing weather and resulting cancellations, my wife and I enjoyed a private tour with Z. He was very pleasant, experienced, and encouraged and entertained my multitude of questions. We did the Hermit Road Tour, and it was well worth the cost. The bikes were well maintained and suitable for the terrain (slightly hilly). Duff was the shuttle driver, and was also very kind and helpful. I would recommend that everyone visiting the GCNP participate in the tour. Rated 11/10.
i really didnt enjoy the sandwich i got. staff are trying to work too quick to be very friendly at all, and the cafe area is wayyyy too slow. my sandwich was like literally slimy.
We rented eBikes, which were great! The attendants were helpful, the bikes well-maintained, and it was a great way to see the South Rim area!
Flawless experience with equipment and staff. Loved riding our bikes around the canyon. We’ve hired bikes in a few cities and we’re really impressed with these models
My sister and I signed up for Bright Angel's bike tour along the west rim of the Grand Canyon to Yaki Point. The tour was great! I would highly recommend. Our guide (I've now forgotten his name) was very knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. The bikes were sturdy, the actual biking itself was very easy and away from cars. It's a wonderful way to experience the Grand Canyon. Do the bike tour.
we LOVED our bicycle experience at the grand canyon. the staff was very accommodating even after we made a mistake when we were booking our rental. they were able to help us fix it, even helped us add insurance. we did the e-bikes and it was such a cool adventure to bike a portion of the rim of the grand canyon. the e-bike was a great idea with all the hills. we would do it all again, we had such a fun time!
LOVED the bike to Yaki point. And the trailer for my toddler was great. Our favorite activity that we did in Grand Canyon!
Great little shop. I didn't rent a bike, but I got an excellent chair latte! Very friendly staff.
