Horrible customer service. Walked in & the guy at the register looked at us twice & didn't say a word to us.. We were hoping to try something new but definitely won't be coming back.
This is our favorite coffee spot in the east valley!
Love their seasonal and staple coffees! Great atmosphere to hangout. Fast service. 10/10 every time. #supportlocal
Love this place, definitely will be going back
Easily the best coffee shop in the area. Been coming here for a few months now and have never been disappointed. Such beautiful, unique flavors. I've had coffee from about 20 different places in the valley but couldn't go back to any of them anymore after trying Sagebrush. Had the chiltepin coffee today, it was amazing but super spicy haha. The pastries are also amazing.
I go here once a week for meetings. Always grab a coffee and sometimes a treat. Amazing atmosphere. Would recommend!
I really like the coffee here and I go here regularly. Today I brought a group of local friends in for the first time with me, I told them how good this place was. Unfortunately one friend didn't like her drink, she asked to get something different, not for a refund, just a different drink and they said NO. That's a problem for me, I don't think I can support a business that treats customers that way. She felt embarrassed and upset. I'm just disappointed, what has happened to customer service. I'm not certain if this is their policy or if she was treated this way for another reason. Still gave 3 stars because the drinks are in my opinion really good.
I am new to the neighborhood, was driving by and decided to try this coffee spot. Now, don’t get me wrong by my review their coffee is phenomenal. They have some specialty drinks there that are a little bit weird for lack of a better word but great espresso!! That being said, it’s my day off, I usually go in there in my sweatpants, my hair a mess and every single time I am made to feel like I am a lower life form. I have tried to make friendly conversation with these people and nothing, they just look at me like I don’t belong there. Today I asked for a caramel mocha latte, both of those being on the menu, I thought it wouldn’t be an issue. Oh, was I wrong! First he goes “we don’t do that here” and I said “I can’t just order a caramel latte and you add mocha to it?” He replies something to the effect of “our owner won’t let us do that”. I said “OK let me just get a caramel latte.” He rings it up as a salted caramel latte and I said “oh I don’t want salted caramel, I just want regular caramel” and he says “that’s the only caramel we have”. I said “your menu says caramel latte not salted caramel latte, so I said OK just give me a mocha.” As he stares through me like he wished I never entered his space. This place is definitely geared toward hipsters in their trendy clothes that want to sit across the table from each other on their laptops avoiding eye contact and ignoring the outside world.
Phenomenal coffee and the place is clean and spacious
Sagebrush provides the perfect ambience for studying or chatting over a coffee that actually tastes like coffee.
Inside is very nice, location is easy to find, and the staff is very polite. The menu of specialty drinks can change but are well made and interesting flavors. Coffee is great and has many different blends. Tea is also very well made with many varieties. Highly recommend this place but be prepared for a small wait due to great care and amazing quality put i to all drinks.
This is a great place for studying or work. It is spacious, ranging from window high tops to couch sitting. It was great to see local art being displayed on the walls. As for the coffee, I ordered a vanilla latte. The taste was decent, but I do appreciate the latte art since I asked about it.
Really chill environment and delicious coffee. Cute stickers
“Life-Altering, that good.” This was the reaction of my partner, my favorite coffee nerd, who works in coffee and travels for good coffee. Wonderfully balanced drinks, excellently roasted beans, and a fun chill aesthetic.
I'll say, 10min for a pour over seems a little long. Seeing how the person in front of me got his coffee 7-8min ago (2-3min to get his coffee). $6.50 for a cup of coffee at a Roastery that doesn't smell like roasted coffee. I have trust issues... Picture to show how "busy" it's been.
Been buying my green coffee beans online from Sagebrush for several years now and finally get to visit the storefront! Great atmosphere, great, fresh roasted coffee!
Great coffee and great experience with staff.
Horrible customer service. I can ignore the fact that the owner doesn't want the recipes changed. What I don't like is the rude batista arguing with me because she didn't explain the concept correctly. I wanted caramel syrup in my tea, she said the only syrup she could ADD was cardamom. Nothing about her not having the human capability to not add the cardamom. I said no I don't want that syrup, just just without. She said ok. Boom, I order a loaf and pay $6 plus a tip. I wait around for my tea and she says I said I didn't want the tea at all. I corrected her on what I said, but instead of saying "hey ok, let's get you a tea ordered then." , she argues with me as if I'm the problem. Not a good experience at all. She needs her job reevaluated
This place is definately a hidden jam! I recently relocated from Seattle and have been looking for high quality espresso drinks all over the places. I have tried so many places and rather disappointed with most of them, except for this one! My everywekend go to place!
I’m very picky about coffee and Sagebrush is my fav coffee in town. The quality of their coffee is just great. Way above average! I drive from Tempe at least once a week to get their Janice latte. The environment is also spacious and calm. I love sagebrush💜
