Always so friendly...
Consistent food. Not awesome but tasty. Great salad bar. This really is the best place to eat in town. Fastest service of the sit down restaurants in town. Also don't pass on the homemade pies. Always good. You haven't been to Alpine if you haven't been to bear wallow.
We love Bear Wallow. We took a buggy ride from our home in Eagar to Alpine. It was a great day.

I loved the atmosphere! They have signs posted saying "no phones allowed," which is a genuis rule. I got a turkey club sandwich, and it was okay. I got food poisoning from it and spent the next night in pain and suffering, but you roll the dice whenever you go out to eat anywhere.

Maybe it's nostalgia, but this place has got to be one of the best breakfast places I've ever been. They do everything well, and it's such a cozy atmosphere, it's hard not to love.

Fast, friendly service. Food was mediocre and barely warm, not cooked the way we asked...it's hard to mess up eggs over easy. Seems like the quality has gone downhill over the past few years. Sad, because this used to be our go to restaurant.
