Best halibut sandwich
Best place we've seen in Wrangell. Quality American comfort food and great prices. Good burgers and sandwiches with fresh seafood.

This is one of our favorite places to eat in Wrangell. You can usually get fresh salads like a blackened chicken or cesar salad, a variety of sandwiches, and other meals. Frequently there are specials of the day. The owner and staff are friendly, interesting, and personable like many of the locals. The prices are good too.

I've been in town for a week now and Zaks has the best burgers in town and the owners are very nice.
James and Katherine are just truly giving and wonderful people. They're full of heart and that comes through in their food and how they run the cafe. Genuine people, good food

I had the loaded potato soup in the sour dough bowl and my son had a small salad. It was very good and inexpensive.

We love Zak's. We frequent Wrangell often and this is our favorite restaurant there. Nothing fancy just really good meals at a reasonable price. Employees are very friendly and many locals eat there. Breakfast, lunch or dinner we have never been disappointed.
Typical diner fare at an affordable price. Smaller, no frills place to grab a bite, with friendly and polite staff. Although the lighting was a little dim, the tables were clean, and the menu was simple. Laughter from other tables filled the room often during my meal, which seemed to make the experience complete. Thank you for a great lunch!
