The atmosphere was really nice and the service was great the drinks were good too!
I'll just set the scene: It's snowing, a literal ton. I slide in next to Hooked on the Bean to a smiling face. I requested coffee and breakfast. (Ham egg and cheese croissant, of course) A.) I've always gotten the perfect hot cup of happy. B.) Try some breakfast, just do it. Soooo good and made fresh (NOT microwaved) 💜
Stopped for a breakfast sandwich, it was good and the real bacon is a plus
Unbelievably large selection of coffees, Italian sodas, flavored red bull drinks, and food items. Between the selections and the service, you'll be blown away. Get a customer card and check them out today!
I used to love this place. They decided to get rid of jet tea smoothies and their smoothies are nowhere’s near what they used to be. The other day I ordered a pineapple coconut smoothie. It costed me $10.50 and was the worst smoothie I’ve ever tasted. It didn’t taste right like the barista messed it up. I drove back to substitute it for a different flavor smoothie. The barista consented and I decided to order a mango smoothie (I don’t usually go wrong with mango). She finished making the smoothie and said that it would be $7.25. I explained to her that she apparently didn’t understand what I meant by substituting the smoothie because I wasn’t planning to pay again when I had already paid $10.50. After paying $10.50 and driving back, she tells me that I’d have to pay again; that they can’t just substitute the drink. What a joke. She made the mango smoothie and then couldn’t hand it to me. This place apparently doesn’t care about business anymore. The customer service and quality of product left much to be desired. Hooked On the Bean has fallen. I’m taking my money to places like The Brew where they actually know what they’re doing when it comes to making drinks and treating customers like royalty.
Great service and coffee
Hannah makes the best drinks! Well priced and wonderful staff
We love this place! It is a coffee "shack" along Kalifornsky Beach Rd in the Kenai/Soldotna area. They have fantastic drinks, hot and cold, and some of the best breakfast sandwiches I have seen. A ham, egg and cheese bagel has a huge slab of ham. Definitely homemade and awesome. They are easy to get to and get out of as well. I am definitely a return customer and will continue to be.
Always friendly and tasty! Thx guys
They make awsome coffees but there is one girl in there that is not very good at making coffee at all
Great breakfast bagels and wife loves the coffee
The service was very good, but I ordered a toasted bagel with cream cheese, the bagel wasn’t toasted at all, it was just warm. The cream cheese also made me disappointed, just a block of cream cheese between the two bagel slices. Didn’t spread it on both just a block between them.
The girls are always so nice and helpful and really get my days started off right!
Enjoyed my breakfast burrito, latte and Americano
Always good to go grab a few snacks! Has a liquor store as well :)
Best coffee place in town!!! Great service, wonderful coffee & Tiffs breakfast sandwiches are next to none & her making is amazing!!!
Excellent customer service. They get to know what their customers want, which makes ordering easy. Pull up and smile to confirm. Great tasting coffee. I never order unless I know for sure I have a tip for the barista.
Had a 25$ prepaid card and they wouldn’t accept it and threw it away, barista was rude and did not make me feel welcome.
Mmmmm and did you know their foods are amazing?
I ordered a sugar free coconut Frappuccino with 4 shots espresso. First I got a baby frap hot, “nope I ordered a sugar free coconut grape Gino 4 shots espresso, next I get a Frappuccino with chocolate syrup all over. I asked “this is sugar free?” Nope! “Lol that’s ok” third time she came back with a dark chocolate Frappuccino and said “it’s sugar free”. I just drove away 20 minutes three tries still no coffee.
