We had to try this while in Skagway. The woman helping us was very nice. The price is very reasonable. The fried bread is huge. Enough to share with 2-3 people. Overall, it tasted ok. Similar to beaver tails.

Super friendly and inviting. The donuts were so filling and perfectly cooked. The smell alone made us stop in to check out this quaint shop.

Very good! It's a big tourist trap, but worth it if you want a traditional treat. It's kind of like a big flat donut, covered in cinnamon sugar. It is delicious, soft and crunchy in some places, and comes out freshly made. According to the employee, this is what the people in the gold mining years made because it was quick and easy and cheap to make. I definitely recommend getting this if you want to try a traditional local treat and get a nice picture! But just note, it's similar to a donut!

After we finished a two hour tour of the city of Skagway,AK. The tour bus drop off most of the people including us at the Klondike Doughboy. The tour guide say it's a very popular place their Klondike Doughboy it's Indian bread cover with cinnamon sugar. We step in the store but we were surprise this store have like Alaskan made items like chocolates, sweets, souvenir and especially jams made in Alaska. First brought a Klondike Doughboy hot and fresh it was really good we enjoy it much.

Pretty good if you want something fried and sweet. A bit pricey but expected. We bought 1 and split it between 2 of us and that was more than enough

Let's get ready to crumble!! There is no question, Fried Bread is a gift from the gods. This benevolent piece of dough embodies everything that is good in world... it also probably has healing properties of some sort. To consume it is to become a better human. So go and try it!

Doughboy was our one "true" destination in Skagway. Just follow your nose and your heart, and it will not disappoint your mouth.

Wonderful place to stop for a snack in Skagway. Be sure to grab a Honey Bear Latte nextdoor as well.

The employees weren't very friendly but the fried dough was awesome. A bit pricey but it's a tourist stop so we expected it to be overpriced.

Fried dough with cinnamon sugar made right in front of you. FRIED DELICIOUSNESS. Support the local economy and treat yo' self. Share with a friend or two if you have guilt, but I won't make you. You can eat that thing alone. And everyone you pass will ask where you got it.
