I have actually been here, about 4 years ago. I asked for a cup of black coffee, no sugar and was told, "We don't have any coffee." To fully set the scene, I'm in an oil town that runs 24/7, expecting the place to basically run on coffee, and they don't have any. Of course, I'm in Alaska, not Hawaii so shortages and things like that happen. So I ask if there is a place I can get coffee. The barista replies, "Well you're welcome to try some of the sludge in the cafeteria, or I can make you an Americano." And that's the story of how I had my first Americano. The picture is from the general store down the road. They have anything you need (except coffee) and if they don't have it, you don't need it.
