Very cozy! Love views of the middle harbor! The food is very comforting. Plenty of healthy options and guilty pleasures. Salisbury Steak, Broccoli Salad, and cinnamon rolls are some of my favorite items!
This place is the absolute CUTEST! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Instead of five stars I give them five hearts! They have such an amazing selection of different sandwiches, salads and baked goods. All homemade with fresh ingredients! The quality of food is TOP NOTCH! This is definitely the spot to try out when you are in Petersburg! You won't miss out! They even have a selection for people who have food allergies - just speak up, talk to them and they are so absolutely friendly with helping you. You can tell that everyone who works there enjoys their job and wants to be there to help you out! Places like this build the backbone for small towns like Petersburg! Highly, highly recommend it! Another couple great things about this place is that it's right by the water - so if you dine in you get a wonderful scene of the mountains and ocean while eating wonderful food, but if you're busy running around town, you can stop in and get your food (and coffee) to go!! Win/win! Don't miss out on this place!
The best in Alaska
Had a breakfast skillet with salad. Huge portion, and the salad was beautiful and delicious. Love The Salty Pantry
Just so people are aware this is not “the saltry restaurant” This business is starting to get bad reviews due to the video circulating. It’s not fair this business is getting the bad reviews. The other restaurant with the owner in video with boat can be found on yelp.
Hey guys, if you're trying to review "The SaltRy" restaurant in Halibut Cove, you've come to the wrong place. This is a different establishment. To the owner of this establishment: apparently the owner of "The SaltRy" did some bad stuff, and you're getting caught in the accidental crossfire. The Saltry has removed their presence from Google, so people are being directed here as google's best guess.
Amazing food, amazing pastries, amazing dinners (on Monday!). Highly recommend.

Was told about this place by the locals and they were spot on. The food was phenomenal and very generous portions. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. The atmosphere in the place makes you feel like you're at home. Definitely a place to visit.
