Admittedly this is a bit on a curve but in Juneau there's not many breakfast spots to speak of and Sandpiper is exactly that! It's not a hipster breakfast place but a good local diner with an authentic vibe. Food was good and service was excellent.

Came a few times in our week in Juneau. Always a place I recommend to whoever is visiting. Use to live here and the quality is still here.

I had a mixed experience while I had a late breakfast here. I got an omelette with all of the other ingredients on the side rather than in the omelette. The bread on the side was burnt and I was not told there was butter on it after asking about cheese/dairy products and having them removed from the omelette itself. Some of the food was cooked well and the service was ok, but I don't see myself coming back

Always make reservations. The food is always great. The service could be more consistent.

Favorite weekend breakfast eats. Can be busy but worth the wait. Love the friendly wait staff and wonderful eats from the kitchen. Our go-to is a veggie omelet and spiced wheat pancakes. 👍 Great food experiences here!

We ate a late breakfast. The place was full but the wait was only about 10 minutes. The wait staff was overworked but remained positive. Overall we were good with the food and service and would come again. This is just about the only place open this time of year in Juneau.

Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, they don't serve sandpiper.

Went there with a group of five during lunch rush and the food still came out fast. Waitress was attentive. Portion size was more than enough. I enjoyed the patty melt with sweet potatoes fries.

What makes the perfect pancake? These guys know - light, springy, chewy texture. No wonder this place has a wall full of plaques as local favorite. Homey atmosphere, nice staff, great breakfast.

Call an hour ahead to reserve a table cuz it is busy most days. They're open Thursday thru Monday. I did a pick up order and it was delicious. Try the French Toast special it's delicious. The staff was very helpful and the food is amazing. Hands down best breakfast in Juneau. They have the awards to prove it.

I was seated right away and the establishment was very cozy and clean. I placed my order and received my food within 10 minutes of sitting down. The food was very good and portioned well. Price was $17.95 and I feel for Juneau Alaska I feel I got my money's worth. I would recommend this restaurant.

Terrible service man at front desk rude and unhelpful . Overaught with too many customers .. waited 50 minutes 2 people got seated . Owner should look at the reservation system . come first serve would have been nice. If you have best breakfast stop in town don't take your customers for granted I am leaving a very review on yelk on your customer service I was denied service for just asking questions and telling your big man up front how good customer service should be run. He overreacted all in line saw that I was just telling him the wait time should be managed better - two reserved tables stayed open for the 50 minutes . Line went into parking lot. Either grow in size or get more polite employees . Terrible experience

The Sandpiper Cafe is the best breakfast spot in Juneau. The Crabcake Benedict is delicious! Highly recommend!

Cute spot w tasty eggs & hash browns (and a foamy cappuccino the way I like it). Bit pricey but that’s Alaska (everything is).

The most reasonable breakfast place I had while in Juneau. They carry oatmeal (very good priced, under $5). It was a nice clean cafe, they had other breakfast options like burritos and pastries and many types of drinks. I would eat here again.
