This place was so fun! A fantastic owner served up delicious espresso and delectable, hand-made German pastries. Charming tables gave us a space for great conversation through giant glass views of downtown. Definitely adding this to my regular coffee shops list.
Their bakery items are soooo good, wonderful taste, perfect texture, and the lady who baked the item is incredibly nice. The environment is extraordinary too.
Great off the beaten path, quiet, peaceful, clean & friendly—German baked goods cafe!! The owner and workers are great here!! The Streusel and Apple Roses were fantastic, as well as the assortment of Teas and coffees (with chaga, lion’s main etc)!!! I highly recommend!!
If you need a nice calm place with good coffee and to clear your head this is the place, it's clean and beautiful in here, the customer service here is definitely 5 out of 5
Have been coming here regularly for a couple months and every cup of coffee has been great. It’s a good quite environment to get some work done while enjoying delicious baked goods and coffee. There are baked goods for those who like sweet and non-sweet treats. The owner is also super nice and makes everything herself.

Stopped here when I really needed a place to sit, be still and enjoy a warm drink. It was absolutely perfect for this very thing :) I enjoyed the Midnight white tea and sat at one of the solo desk-tables by a window; felt a bit like I was transported back to my solo travels in Europe, which was totally delightful. I will be back next time I’m in Anchorage!
I eat here almost every morning when I visit Anchorage. The almond bars, yogurt and fruit, and lattes are my go to. Definitely visit and talk to the owner; she is the best!

Kaffee Klatsch is a wonderful German bakery and cafe! Birgit(who I believe is the owner) was so kind and welcoming. I bought an Americano and it was delicious. The baked goods are homemade and when I was there, I could see Brigit rolling out dough and making the pastries in the back which was lovely!
This is an amazing, secret spot in Anchorage! Wonderful, fresh baked goods & the coffee is perfect. Love the sunny, peaceful atmosphere.
Made a visit to this cozy little place right before flying out of Anchorage back to SFO on Saturday. Got the chaga coffee and three different pastries. They were all delish! 5 star all the way.
