Loved that this was a small park. But, as it was full when we arrived, it was a challenge to get our rig into our space! Not much room for maneuvering, but we eventually got in. The space said it was OK for up to 40' on the map and we were only 35'. We parked our tow vehicle elsewhere. The view was lovely across the marsh and to the Cook Inlet. Sunsets were lovely and we saw moose in the marsh. Loved being just down the road from the Anchor River State Recreation Area. Nice large beach and a lot of eagles. On clear days you could easily see the volcanos and mountains across the Inlet. Good location for visiting Homer and the greater area. AT&T phone signal was good.

We absolutely loved this spot... the veiws were amazing and the people we meet were all super friendly. The only thing I can say that was not 100% was the water pressure but it was still ok.. if you can this would be the spot to stay..

Loved it. We were offered a space in secondary camping area and it was perfect. We felt special and place was clean, quiet and roomy with beautiful view and privacy. It has been several years since we stayed at Anchor Point and Kyllonen RV campground is our place to stay. It is only 20 minute drive to Homer when during a Labor Day weekend, all RV parks there are full.

Small campground but great views and amenities (free wifi, $2 showers, $7 wood). A little more spendy, $45, but worth it. The place has very personable grounds. They definitely take pride in their property. Many bald eagles and bird watching.saw a moose and entertained by Magpies. Staff very friendly.

My husand and I enjoyed our stay at this RV park. It is very quiet and in a beautiful setting. We could see bald eagles flying over head from the campsite. Would definitely stay here again if we get the chance to visit Alaska again.

great place to stay with an RV...close to the beach (1/4 mile), smaller campground means more peace and quiet...great campground hosts too....close enough to Homer without the hustle and bustle

Shhhhh. Don't tell anybody about this delightful RV Park with the million dollar view. Been here 6 days and loving it. Close enough to Homer to enjoy the mobs and far enough away to avoid them. Photo is out the front of our motorhome on a rainy day. When clear, the mountains are spectacular.

Loved our stay at Kyllonen's so much we stayed extra days. Thanks Colleen and Mike! If you are looking for a quiet place to stay with beautiful views and the best beach to visit this is the place to stay. The beach is a lovely 5 minute walk, was full of eagles and is sandy which is unusual for many Alaska beaches. Mike and Colleen go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Homer was great and we enjoyed the 15 min drive each day. VIsit 2 sisters bakery, K bay coffee, and the farmers market.

Our family was taking a 10 day RV trip through Alaska when I came across Kyllonen's RV park by chance. I booked it for one night. The location is AWESOME we took a small walk to the water and watched over 3 dozen eagles on the sand. The park hosts were warm and very helpful. We left after that night to spend 2 nights on Home Split but had an unpleasant experience trying to check in so I called Kyllonen's. Spoke with Colleen and she told us to head back -- she had a great site with a view of the water waiting for us. Can't say enough --- we LOVED it there!!

We stayed here for 2 days during a Homer trip. It is a beautiful SMALL campground set for RV'S adjacent to the Anchor and about 2 minutes drive from the ocean. Camp hosts were friendly and helpful and the bathrooms were very well maintained. Back-up space was a bit tight for our 5th wheel but with help from the host we managed to get it. Added bonus was electric and water hook-ups and the fact that generators are not allowed. Would definitely recommend if you want to be close to Homer but not fight for a space down there. Would also highly recommend for family caravans. The kids had a great time hiking on the flats and there were about 30 eagles on the beach at any give time; we got some amazing photos.
