The food was delicious and the service was great! I will definitely be going back to try even more of the menu.
First time dining in on Saturday May 28,2023 and it was a great experience. We waited to be seated for two for about 40minutes which was to be expected since we didn’t make a reservation and it was a Saturday. The customer service was amazing from entering to place our names on the waiting list to the time we left after eating our meal. The food was delicious we had the salmon with broccoli and the glazed pork chops with greens and white rice. We also had the shrimp dip and strawberry salad! There was a gentleman walking around asking everyone how their experience was going which added to the excellent customer service we received. Rated 5STARS see pics!

The dinner was prefect and the staff was so friendly. I had the locally raised catfish and my boyfriend had the creole surf and turf. The flavor was exceptional. I will definitely be back.
This was by far an incredible experience. The place was super busy ,I knew already it was going to be good .After about 20 minutes waiting we were seated. The food was truly delicious, I'm still dreaming about my pork chops. Amanda our server was friendly, efficient and professional. Can't wait to go back. Keep up the amazing work 👏. Giulio Tempesta.
The best spot in Tuscaloosa, hands down! Don’t get no better
The food was excellent! Wish I had taken pictures but ...I promise, it smelled and looked so good, I absolutely wasn't thinking about taking pictures. I had the chicken BLT, all I needed for a 2nd sandwich... was a bun,yes...it had that much chicken. Fried chicken breast!
The food was good. However we had a reservation. We didn’t get seated until 2 hours later. The manager didn’t speak until I asked for him after he walked by us several times. I had a patty of about 15. He didn’t make any accommodations and basically told me he didn’t have to say anything to me. It was my son’s birthday.The experience was awful. I have never seen a manager treat customers so badly. We traveled from outside of Tuscaloosa. I haven’t been to this restaurant since that experience.
I love everything about this place! The atmosphere, customer service, and food are all exceptional! If you're looking for a great vibe with great food this is it!

Dined here for the 1st time with my husband for lunch. Delicious food, nice atmosphere, pleasant staff and in the middle of downtown Tuscaloosa. We enjoyed the Buffalo chicken dip for an appetizer, I enjoyed crabcakes fory entree and my husband enjoyed the UBK pasta with the sauce on the side. Resonably priced and good portion size. We'll be going back
We ate here after graduation at the University of Alabama. Her graduation was at noon on Saturday. We went immediately after she walked the stage and got there before 2 pm. Our goal was a late lunch. Perfect timing. We had no wait for a party of 8. The website is helpful to join the waitlist if needed. Good food and cocktails.
10/10 recommend UBK! UBK is an VIBE. Adrienne (unsure of spelling) was our hostess she was very inviting and full of personality! Amanda was our server , she was very knowledgeable about the menu & even though it was a busy night she made each table a priority while handling the bar. Our drinks were great highly recommend the Frose, Caribbean Mule , and the Gold Rush . Mr. Gary delivered our food he was very nice and attentive ! If I’m ever back in the area I will most definitely stop by . The food was great we had the cauliflower wings, UBK pasta & the shrimp and grits .
Graduated a year ago and moved to NYC, still haven’t found a restaurant as tasty as this place!!
Reese was amazing and so sweet! My first time eating here and he made the experience perfect, definitely will be requesting him every time I come here.

Not being from the city I’ve experienced the Best customer service EVER!! The food was beyond amazing. Will definitely be returning.
My coworkers and I were starving! We were in town on a business trip and we had worked 12 hours... we had been asking all day for restaurant suggestions and a few of the college students had recommended Urban Bar & Kitchen. We finished at 8 and they closed at 9 so we flew over there to make sure we could place our orders. I called in advance to make sure they were open and the girl that answered the phone said yes. So we get there at 8:30 and I see the girl behind the cash signaling to the waiter to turn us away. He walks over and says, "sorry we're closed. Our kitchen closes at 9". We all said "but it's 8:30"... he looked at us dead in the face and said "well our kitchen closes at 8:30 then". NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER RETURN NO MATTER HOW GOOD THE FOOD IS. THAT WAS DISRESPECTFUL AND WE WERE SO EXCITED TO TRY THIS PLACE! Your employees need to trained on customer service, I'm extremely disappointed with how we were treated. Just disgusting!
