HH is always my first choice to go grab a coffee and get some homework done! Their pastries and food items are amazing, and the workers are always so kind and upbeat. I’ve never been disappointed when coming here!
I love this HH location! I used to frequent the one on the river, but it was always extremely busy. This location can get busy at times too, but it’s always a pleasant place early in the morning. Coffee is pretty good and the food is great! Only complaint would be that service isn’t the fastest, but that’s usually not of concern to me. Atmosphere is wonderful and the interior is so cute!
Great coffee and light foods. Friendly staff. Wholesome Christian enviornment. Highly recommend any location of HH !! .
Please bring back pimento cheese. Very warm and welcoming place to hang out. Drinks are very good.
Breakfast quesadilla is the bomb 💣
Their lunch normally is great. But I have had their breakfast twice and it’s awful. Cheese grits not done all the way and too thick. No one wants hard grits. Next sausage patties not well done. I don’t want to get sick. No more breakfast from them. Plus price was too high for meal.
Today was my first time eating there and I was very impressed with the atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was great. Going back soon.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Heritage Coffee House and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere of the coffee shop is warm and inviting, with a rustic and cozy decor. The seating area was comfortable and perfect for a leisurely cup of coffee. The coffee selection at Heritage Coffee House was impressive, with a variety of options to choose from. I tried their signature blend and it was absolutely delicious, with a rich and smooth flavor. The baristas were knowledgeable and helpful in recommending the perfect drink to suit my taste. The food selection was also noteworthy. I had a chance to try their breakfast sandwich and it was delicious, with fresh ingredients and great taste. The pastry selection was also impressive and the croissant was flaky and buttery, definitely fresh and made in house. The service at Heritage Coffee House was also top notch. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure that our experience was enjoyable. I highly recommend Heritage Coffee House to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a comfortable place to relax. I will definitely be returning as a regular customer.
It was really good and even though there was a long line on a Saturday morning, it didn’t feel like we had to wait long for everything once we ordered. I had the Nutella strawberry crepe and my husband had the French toast. We each had a Sugar Daddy with oat milk. He said he could have used more strawberries on his French toast. We also had a delicious blueberry muffin. The coffee tasted good but it wasn’t super delicious like I expected. It was nice and clean for there being so many people.
Excellent place for coffee and breakfast. I tried the Heritage House Special coffee which was delicious! For breakfast, I had baked oatmeal with bananas, also excellent. Other items tried were Cafe Mocha, french toast with strawberries and bananas, chocolate chip muffins, and sweet peach tea. The food is fresh and delicious. So many choices! Scones, crepes, waffles, pancakes, muffins, etc. I cannot wait to go back and try more from their menu!
Every time I’m visiting Tuscaloosa, I drop by and get the HH special. It’s been my favorite coffee shop for over ten years. So good and the people are wonderful.
11 out of 14 times I've ordered something at the drivethru, it was wrong. Today is the last time I support this local business. Today's order "toasted everything bagel with melted butter. Please dont give me frozen butter packets and a caramel macchiato " What I received, not toasted and frozen packets. Oh and a mocha latte. This is everytime now. Im going to Dunkin from now on.
What Service? My food literally came out 20 minutes before my coffee. Food was average.
So much cheaper but more gourmet than Starbuck
Food is excellent, Christian environment, clean and the staff is amazing! It’s a great environment for a meeting, catch up with a friend or just relax and take a minute with a great cup of coffee.
Perhaps it would be possible to have more than 1 cash register for the indoors? 30-45min wait just to order and pay.
Could use more parking, but plenty of seating and good food options!
Heritage House is always a great place to grab a bite! The atmosphere in here is wonderful and so relaxing. I really enjoy their breakfast quesadillas and the salsa that comes with them, and the cheese grits are a close second! If you do want to come here, try to plan around the University's test schedule, as lots of students come here to study

The sugar daddy coffee is AMAZING , with oat milk. The customer service is always great when I go, they go over and beyond for you, seriously, like one time I needed a napkin cuz I spilled my coffee, and when I asked they gave it to me, but it was the way they gave it to me, it felt heavily. Then all of a sudden I have a brand new coffee at my table, like it was sent from the heavens, and the cashier/ barista said “Sorry about your spill, heres that same coffee, and I bet it’s better this time” I was in awe. Best service for sure. Coffee FANTASTIC.
