Visits to Tuscaloosa deserve a stop at Five. Great service and delicious menu items. First vist was in 2015 while visiting the university. So, that was post the pandemic. Have not been back through the area since 2020 and I hope it survived. Five is a Gem! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

This little place is adorable! They have 5 main dishes they serve. We tried the baked avocado, uptown chicken, and yellow fin tuna dip they were all great! I recommend the paneed chicken, it was delicious! Great serving size too! Will definitely be back!

Limited menu, so making a choice was easy, and the food was delicious. The service was great!

I'm allergic to almonds. I wasn't asked about nut allergies when I placed my order. I wasn't aware that the salad that came with my meal would be full of almonds. Luckily, I noticed them before I started eating. Otherwise, the night would have been a disaster for me and all the other patrons. The chicken appetizer was really good, though.

Exceptional!!! I have traveled globally for decades, and while visiting the university in Tuscaloosa, I had dinner here and was very impressed - putting it mildly. Equally impressive was our waiter, Blake. He knew the menu top to bottom, what went best with what, how it was prepared, and was super attentive. Highly recommended.

Food is always great here. The limited menu makes is to where they can really excel. I've eaten here many times and always enjoy it.

We were seated, then sat there for 15 minutes without even being acknowledged. Got up and left. Won't be back.

I would have given zero stars but after a ton of complaints, the manager went above and beyond to fix the problem... but the amount of complaining and the time it took was ridiculous. Still won't be returning, I enjoy a variety and their 5 options aren't enough.

The hubby and I stopped here for some brunch on our way back to Mississippi. The food was good and my husband loved the burger. I had the breakfast burrito with a side of grits (not pictured). The grits were so creamy, flavorful and delicious. I wish there was a little note on their menu but what we did have was great. I do not recommend the mimosas. It was all champagne and very bitter. I had to order a glass of $5 orange juice (wasn’t happy about the price) just to be able to drink my mimosa. I would visit here again!

Food was excellent. They sat us at 10:45pm even though they close at 11p. We ordered quick and food and beverages arrived quick. Didn't rush us out. Great people.

Well, I've been here at least a dozen times, but last night was really bad. Food poisoning is no joke! When food is not kept to temperature, bacteria starts to grow and if you serve that to people they get sick. Please be more aware of how you hold food before you serve it. I shouldn't have been violently vomiting from a double cheeseburger and french fries an hour after eating it.

I have been eating at this restaurant for about the last 4 years and shame on me for not leaving an updated review. The food is always spot on amazing and I highly recommend going for brunch if you get the chance. On this last visit I went for dinner and had the ribeye and you know I had to double up on the mac and cheese because it's some of the best in the South. I'm a northerner so it's about a 7-hour trip for me to get in front of one of these plates but it's well worth the drive. All of the service staff and bartenders at this location are super courteous and polite and provide some of the best service anywhere in Tuscaloosa.

I have eaten here twice with my staff. Food is excellent, staff extremely efficient, and the restaurant is welcoming. Love the model of business and the menu is simple and easy. I had the pork chop this time. Perfectly done. Well done Five.
