Very cool atmosphere and architecture. Connected to a restaurant, but a solid coffee operation nonetheless

So upset with this place. Went to dinner here last night and it was delicious. Didn't realize it was also a coffee shop by day and the menu looked great. Came in today to get a latte, out of oat milk - whatever, add caramel $6. There weren't many people in the place and when 10,15,20,25,30,40 - yes FORTY total minutes went by and my friend and I still did not have a simple iced coffee it was ridiculous. Two other people went up and asked for a refund because of the extreme delay and the barista basically told them his to do list before getting to the coffees - need to wait til others food is out, get bowls, wrap up bread, sooo weird and unprofessional. Never have seen anything like it. So after 40 minutes we asked for a refund and left coffeeless. Will not return.

This a such a wonderful and delightful place!! During Sunday Brunch they have a live sax musician who is just phenomenal (mix between older and current songs). Everything he played made me want to dance to the smooth jazz melody and even sing along sometimes 🤣. The ambiance is awesome with a rustic vibe and food was delicious. My Hubbie had a brunch/breakfast burger and I had the same except on a bean burger. Both were a “party in your mouth.” I don’t typically do reviews, but for my coffee shop and cafe lovers, this is a MUST visit!!! We stayed several hours working and reading during our Hurricane Ida evacuation. This is how we made lemonade out of lemons!!

the beignets are delicious and so is the lavender blossom latte. the place reminds me of this one hotel i went to in nashville that was cool as hell and i could definitely see myself coming back, but on certain conditions. now you may be wondering why i’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 in an obvious 5 star venue, but my review lost an entire star because of the mediocre music choice. someone in the back is probably going through a rough time right now because i’ve heard a whopping selection of 4 taylor swift songs and 3 harry styles songs. whatever millennial cusper has their spotify connected to this god forsaken speaker, please reach out to a therapist, i’m concerned.

This has been my go to "office" lately. The wifi is amazing and the coffee is great. I usually will come and work on my laptop for several hours (they close at 3pm).

This is an old fashioned cozy little place. Needed a quick stop but it would be a neat place to just go and sit. Latte was very good.

Sunday brunch here was great. Great live jazz and the service was fantastic! Shrimp and grits was my favorite although I also enjoyed a piece of the perfectly cooked chicken from my son's plate. I will return!

I cannot praise this place enough. This is my first time in here and I instantly fell in love. Beautiful, comfortable space, extensive menu with great food options, and my latte was perfect. Ordering was simple and easy. Customer service was exceptional and welcoming. The girl behind the counter was super helpful. A total gem in Tuscaloosa.
