Beautiful place, great service, but coffee is just sugary flavors, and waffles have a weird after taste. Not a fan of the blue food coloring in the sweet cream (Strawberries and Cream Waffles). My kids got the blue dye everywhere before the graduation ceremony.
Awesome local coffee shop with a big gift shop and a great selection of their own coffee to grind and take home. Food was big portions and excellent. Definitely a must stop if you’re in the area
Coffee here is like Heaven in your mouth. I was going to let it cool, but it was the perfect temperature already. The food was fresh and made to scratch. Perfect place to stop at for breakfast before we eneded our vacation

I have brought my two daughters to this location multiple times. The staff’s friendly, the products are always exactly what we are looking for (whether coffee/ice cream/shop items). I do not know the owners personally, but I know they’ve donated multiple times to the school our children attend, and as people read store reviews on Google it’s always best to keep in mind the staff work crazy rush hours and do the best they can while still maintaining awesome service time. I will continue praising Southern Grind for their connection to the community and their amazing store.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the southern grind. From the moment I walked in, the employees were friendly and knowledgeable, and they took great care in preparing my coffee to perfection. Speaking of the coffee, it was simply outstanding and was roasted to perfection to bring out all of the wonderful flavors and aromas. Every sip was a true delight. In addition to the coffee, this shop also offered a great selection of pastries and snacks, all of which were delicious. The menu featured a variety of breakfast and lunch items, too, which I can't wait to try on my next visit. Overall, I would highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone who loves great coffee and a welcoming atmosphere. The quality and care that goes into every cup is unparalleled, and I simply can't wait to go back. Five stars all around!

When you walk in to the Southern Grind, you immediately fall in love. You'll love the food, the atmosphere, and the coffee. The staff are great, and so kind, especially Cassie!
We visited today at The Wharf. My husband and I were the only 2 at the counter. We waited a few minutes. When the phone rang, the lady answered the phone, did not acknowledge us and took a long order. We decided to leave and go somewhere where the business values all customers. She should have at least greeted us, said, Hello - just a minute- and placed the caller on hold. SMH
Not only is the food and coffee fabulous but the staff is AMAZING! Cassie Tattles has been irreplaceable in preparing many wonderful breakfasts ( with super early pick ups! )and lunches for our events. Will continue to be a very appreciative regular at Southern grind.
This is the best coffee shop around!! That turkey club panini was amazing oh and the cheesecake brownie was out of this world good!!! They have gelato baked goods and a great selection of foods and drinks!! Lots of beautiful decor, jewelry, books, etc. This is a must for your to do list!!

Saw them get really busy, they kept a great attitude and took care of guests quickly and professionally. I browsed the jewelry and found some nice pieces. I tried the lavender honeybee latte (iced) it was great! They're also dog friendly!!! Huge plus for dog lovers like myself, would love to bring my min pin here!
Our Love for this coffee started when a friend of my wife's that lives close to Southern Grind gifted her with a bag of beach whacker. The smell of the coffee was amazing when we opened the bag but then the flavorful smooth taste with no bitterness really impressed us! We have since tried other flavors and they are all very good but we have our two favorites beach whacker of course and house blend. We live in Knoxville Tn and reached out to Cassie at southern grind to order our favorites in bulk every couple of months and she is wonderful in making sure we get it as timely as possible with best shipping rates available. Try this coffee you will not be disappointed!
It was fine. There was nothing special about it, but there was also nothing bad about it. They had coffee, it's a little bit overpriced for what it is.
Very average coffee with an above average price point. Staff had an attitude when we asked questions. Didn’t make us feel welcome. We got 2 of the venti nitro cold brew and it was just under $15!
