I was in town on business. After that was concluded, my sister's family took my wife and me out on the town for dinner. She chose Central, and as it turned out, the food and atmosphere did measure up to my sister's praise. I ordered the Persillade Crusted Rack of Lamb. This meat dish was cooked to perfection with an accompanying sauce that was amazing. Our table shared the Charcuterie board and the surf n' turf wood fired oysters as appetizers. No complaints there. I was only able to try one oyster, however. They were popular with the table. For desert, I split Jake’s Mile High Pie with my wife. We both loved it. Next time we're in Montgomery, we will surely take our whole family to Central.

Blown away by the quality and the atmosphere of this place. Located on a vibrant block near the riverfront, Central is beautifully decorated to create a cozy and upscale vibe, further enhanced by the amazing service. The menu has a ton of variety and every dish we tried was a true flavor bomb. The filet Mignon was one of the best cuts of meat I’ve had in a long time

Excellent meal, unique menu, and fabulous ambiance. All around great restaurant. Their homemade donut dessert was out of this world delicious. Light and flavorful with sweet cream and strawberries. Perfect summer dessert, not too heavy and not overly sweet.

Our experience was amazing! Brandy, our waitress, was incredible. She knew the menu so well and was able to alternate it as needed to meet our dietary restrictions. The food was incredible and was the best we have had in Alabama. I would definitely recommend and be back for another taste of this most excellent food.

Celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary in one of the private rooms. We had a great time the food was excellent and the atmosphere was elegant. The only complaint I had was that the carpet should have been cleaner and chair covers should have been included because the chairs were worn and some were stained. Great experience overall :)

Our waitress was horrible, she was unprofessional, interjected herself into our personal conversations and couldn’t keep her opinions to herself. We traveled from NC for a birthday celebration with our brother and she contributed to making the evening regrettable. The food was lousy, tasted bland and way overpriced. The menu was alcohol heavy and food light as if to focus on. We won’t be coming back👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Great atmosphere with terrific food and service. Kiki our server was like going out with your best friend-she was on top of things and made great recommendations. Cocktails were great and we liked the wine selection, but this is really a cocktail or beer haus. We went for sides and a salad for our meal as lunch had been big. Potatoes bravas and brussel sprouts were our favorites, but the grits were also amazing. We had vindaloo ravioli as a shared entree and was delicious and spicy 🔥 as advertised. Dessert like the mile high pie were also special.

We started with gochujang lamb ribs with candied pecans-absolutely delicious. I had beef short rib five onion & parmesan grits, fried shallots, confit tomatoes, red wine beef demi and my friend had Braised Lamb Shank graham marsala & coconut braised Lamb shank, spinach saag, garlic fried basmati rice. Our server was very knowledgeable and made all the great suggestions. Ever in Montgomery, try it out!!

This place is wonderful, a great dining experience. We had pre-dinner drinks, so good! The NY Strip was done perfectly. The veggies were fresh.y wife had the scallops, she loved them. Cheesecake and the chocolate dish with ice cream for dessert. Amazing dinner. Our server was awesome as well. It was kinda pricey but we had a lot of great food, so it was worth it. Our favorite place when we are in Montgomery.

All-around great dining experience - great service, knowledgeable server, great food, great drinks, great ambiance. My only complaint was how cold it was. We were sat in a direct draft of the AC and everyone was cold. Would definitely go back again.

Well, I had high expectations for this place but I won’t be returning. We made reservations and upon entering tonight, the host seems disinterested and didn’t even greet us. She coldly led us to our table and didn’t even tell us to follow her and just started walking towards it. I didn’t like being in the middle of the restaurant and wanted a booth so I went to ask her if we could have a booth, there were three empty ones. She initially told me no, they’re all reserved. Well I don’t remember us having the option to reserve a certain table but I just said okay. When our original server first came to our table, the host came back and said there was a booth available. I apologized to the sever and told her I’d carry my glass of water that she just poured but she rudely snatched it from the table and told me she’d bring another one to us. Luckily, we ended up with a different sever at the booth who was very attentive and polite but the food is the last and most critical issue. Whoever this chef is, they need to be replaced asap. These are some of the strangest creations ever! I have eaten from various restaurants in Europe, Asia, Caribbeans and or course all over the USA and this is the worst fine dining food I’ve ever had the displeasure of eating. I ordered a 8oz filet mignon for $45, it came with this ‘potato’ side dish with a name I can’t remember but I remember the smell and taste. I spat it out immediately and didn’t touch it. The steak was fine although a bit burnt in some areas. The chimichurri sauce left a lot to be desired. I guess I was comparing it too much to a steak and chimichurri sauce that I had In Tampa that was phenomenal and half the price. I would’ve expected this to be better. Also forgot to mention the pimento cheese appetizer, it was supposed to be served with flatbread but we got some burnt cracker like bread that was gross. My husband got the braised lamb and made himself eat it but later told me he didn’t like it. He’s not picky at all and us

Central has an easy elegance in its atmosphere, service, food presentation, and taste. The red velvet crème brûlée was creative and flavorful with the perfect texture. The scallops were perfectly cooked and seasoned and complemented by the risotto. The ravioli was also a creative flavor bomb. Our server was helpful and gracious and. The salad had just the right amount of light, refreshing dressing! We had a perfect evening.

Went on 3/11 The food was amazing! We will definitely be back! I wish I would had gotten the name of our waiter to add to this review to brag on him but he went beyond GREAT service. Made sure we had everything to our liking, even taking photos for us! To add he told us we wouldn’t regret getting the steaks and BOY WAS HE RIGHT! Can’t wait to come back soon.
