The coffee here is great! One of my favorite parts is you can order coffee ice cubes so your drink doesn't get watered down as the ice melts.
John Serda's iconic coffee shop on Royal St. represents the city well, catering to the growing number of national & international visitors visiting LoDa's Central Business District for work & play. Fare such as hot or iced coffee, gelato or a healthy soup | salad | sandwich | wrap combo is a treat. Pay attention. You might see a local mover & shaker, or perhaps a famous actor in town shooting a movie, quietly standing in line for a snack.
Great coffee, great pastries and a great atmosphere! What else can you ask for? Oh, and LOW prices. This is such a great place, easily 6 stars if it was possible. Would recomend!
Always enjoy stopping for my favorite Coffee of the Day, pastry, or breakfast or lunch item. Service does the job but nothing to praise.
The customer service excellence friendly and very helpful! Their coffee and gelato is very delicious, reasonably priced and they even offer samples so you know what your paying for! If you are ever in downtown Mobile it's a must!
They have a good vibe here. The only thing was they serve their coffee in to go cups, whether or not you're having your coffee there or not. I was really looking forward to having my cappuccino in a real mug. But other than that, it's nice. The breakfast items we purchased were good. Especially the breakfast burrito my daughter ordered. The coffee is delicious and they have a huge selection of flavors

Can see why this place is so highly rated. Very good breakfast joint. Food was delicious just a little order mix-er-upery but it worked out. Staff was great.
Overall, this place was not good. The customer service is lacking. We walked in and were not greeted and then waited several minutes before anyone took our order. We were charged more than the menu board showed and we didn’t get everything it was supposed to come with. The board shows sandwiches are served with chips and a pickle but we were told the sandwiches didn’t come with anything and the sides were all extra. I ordered an iced latte and was given a macchiato- not a big deal but it was not what I ordered and I ended up throwing it away because it was not good. The smoothie was delicious and the reason for two stars! Two sandwiches, a small coffee, and a smoothie was $37 before leaving a tip. Definitely not worth the price.
We got a lot! There smoothies were perfect and not to sweet. I got the peach sunrise and my fiancé got an iced chai. We also got a burrito. It was a great atmosphere and and excellent staff. We were visiting and they pointed us to some cool areas of town! Definitely recommend!!!!
Such a good location. The food and drinks are always refreshing and make my soul happy. The environment is well lit and feels warm and cozy. Love getting the turkey wrap and a smoothie.
I dropped in for coffee and saw they also served smoothies, ice cream, food, pastries, and now even alcohol.
Did an online order and went to the store to pick, waited for about 5 minutes and everyone just ignored that I was standing at the counter trying to pick up my order. Finally had to get one of the workers attention who then give me my order, cold by then. Poor customer service.
We were just passing by, we decided to stop. Good environment, great customer service and amazing coffee and the Reuben sandwich delicious as soon as eaten mouth watering. Definitely we coming back.

This gem of a café had it all. A rueben and some pumpkin cheesecake gelato!? What else could you want? They have several plush sofas for you to sit if you don't prefer the array of conventional seating they have. The staff was friendly and attentive. I like the funky decoration around the restaurant.

First time here and staff was so nice. Offered me recommendations and this place even has milk substitutes. New favorite coffee place when im downtown.
