The food here is amazing!!! Even as an omnivore, I absolutely enjoy everything on their vegetarian menu! My favorite drink is their 'Creeper' (hot macchiato) This place has become everything to me. I was really becoming a boring adult like the ones portrayed in the Progressive commercials. Then, I started visiting this adorable coffee shop regularly and turned my life around.
From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, staff and customers both were kind and inclusive. I imagine it's an amazing place to go for tabletop gaming with friends but we found it looking for good vegetarian options. I ordered the most vegetables I could get on a pizza. Was happy to find they were fresh and flavourful, and overall the pizza was great. My partner ordered the barbecue impossible burger which was absolutely amazing. Spicy, sweet and a little crunchy from the fried onions. The coffee was also fresh, delicious and lovingly made by a skilled barista.

Super fun store! Well organized cards/gaming sessions. Cool merchandise, awesome food, coffees and drinks, friendly and knowledgeable owners and staff.
Cool place. Good prices. I gotta try the great smelling food next time I'm in there. Just a an all around great places for the needs of decatur. Go check it out for yourself
Was visiting from out of town and the way to Huntsville. Sign say only vegetarian restaurant in Decatur. Also if you like games it's an interesting stop.
This is me and my fiancé's favorite place to hang out. Seth and Justin are so friendly and fun to talk to, there's a lot of great people that go here to make friends with, and the food is immaculate. I'm a coffee fanatic and this is is the only coffee shop I get my coffee from now. And the smoothies are amazing too. I've met people that eat the food here, that didn't even know their burgers were vegetarian. I can tell that they put a lot of love into their food. If you don't try anything, at least get a chocolate chip cookie. I didn't think I would like it (I'm a baker myself and a picky eater) but they are SO freakin good!!! My favorite thing to do here is sit on the comfy couch and work on my crochet while talking to whoever's at the counter or sitting nearby (: Also I feel very comfortable being here because of the LGBT friendly atmosphere! So go to the current and support your local nerds ☺️
i love the entire vibe of the place. super nerdy, great coffee, amazing food and an awesome collection of things available to buy. i almost always end up getting a handful of stickers 😅 update: i always get a handful of stickers 🤪
Loved trying the Heartless Burger with Smokehouse BBQ Chips, Choosy Mom Cookie & a Coca-Cola Zero Sugar drink for my taste of my experience & it was all good.
If you like gaming, coffee, and food (*vegetarian). This might be the coffee house for you. I'm not one*, but the food's still good. The owners are as pleasant, and attentive. As anyone could ask for.
Great place to chill, play some D&D, grab a bite and just enjoy yourself. The service is wonderful, the coffee and food are both fantastic and the selection of cards, games and books are great. My aunt loved it so much, that she even sells her jewelry there now! I highly recommend coming here.
Very yummy vegan lunch! Didn’t take long at all and very close to downtown Decatur—would make a great place for folks to get lunch during the workweek. Great selection of cards and games. Loved chatting with the owners. Definitely will be back.
This place is fantastic. Great collection of items. Fair trade in value and prices. Lots of people here playing magic. My son and his friends love to come here to get new cards.
Today was my first time coming here. They have a super cool cafe area, the whole place was really neat and had amazing customer service! I ordered one of their smoothies and it was delicious! I also think the DND section of it is super cool. They have a lot of collectible options, great food, cool people, highly recommend! I’m definitely coming back and bringing some friends ❤️
Took my 8 year old for a mom son day out. He’s new to Yu-gi-oh and the owners were so helpful! Also grabbed an americano, the Ridley(fancy grilled cheese) and cheese pizza. All great quality! We have a new hangout!
I am from out of state and wanted to play some magic the gathering. Everyone was friendly and nice and said hi and asked if I needed anything. Overall friendly people and staff, great coffee, great games, nice store overall!!!

I absolutely adore this place. It's so nice to have another option around for our card and gaming hobbies, and Current has a very nice selection of board games, role playing books, all the latest tcg/ccgs. But them they go beyond that with collectibles, some beautiful homemade jewelry and clothing items (nerd friendly!), and in the back they have a small kitchen and dining area and make some bomb cookies. The selection is good, the atmosphere inside is cozy and cool but honestly what really blew me away were the owners/workers. The first time I went I got to talk to them for awhile about our favorite games and hobbies and stuff. And they are so nice and friendly and easy to talk to, just seem like real cool guys. This is such a breath of fresh air because the other gaming/hobby stores in the area either seem to have workers that don't want to socialize much or (at a particular one, won't name names tho) they are downright rude as hell. *I will say that the one I'm referring to probably has the biggest selection in North Alabama, but I will never go there again because of the way I was always treated.) Current is also super active on Facebook and setting up events on different weeks to group up and play or learn games. That's always a plus!
