The food is spectacular,a true southern inspired meal. The building fits perfectly with the food and should not be changed. The servers were attentive and knew the menu well suggesting their favorites meals which did not disappoint. Cheers to everybody working there!
Amazing food, omg I needed a post breakfast nap, it was like finishing thanksgiving diner, my kids loved it. It has a wonderful home feel. And service was excellent.
Outstanding food and amazing service.
Had the pear salad - literally was half a pear on a piece of lettuce topped with mayonnaise, shredded cheese, and a cherry. To me that's just not edible but maybe I'm just too picky. But, I can't say I have tried anything else. So if you don't like lettuce, pear, and mayo together, I suggest you stay away from the pear salad - maybe they put a little more effort into their other food 🤷🏻♀️. I saw that I could post a picture and I did, cause believe me - I did not miss taking a pic of whatever in the heck that was. And the reason why I had this salad was because I am a vegetarian (dietary reasons) and this was basically their only no meat option, which shame on me for not eating meat I guess. But, I also think it's not too much to ask for a salad to be a little more than lettuce, pear, and mayo. Just a thought.
I love this place, new favorite breakfast place via door dash, but no matter how many calls we've made, but will try again tomorrow because it's worth it!
My waitress was Tara, and she was the right amount of friendly with pace. Excellent service. I've only gone once, so I can only recommend her, but she had great service. The biscuits taste real! Not store bought! I've never had real biscuits. Pleasant surprise. The hashbrown casserole was good, too. I got the apple jam, it was the right choice. The banana pudding was good, too. Better than store bought. Bacon was thick like a piece of ham, very juicy. Eggs were light, fluffy, and creamy - in a good way. Just right. Very high praise. I think it was the unexpected great tasting biscuits :) If I lived locally, I'd definitely eat here often - of course, getting some biscuits to go, and I'm not a bread gal :)
Today for lunch I ordered the grilled chicken salad, and a side of squash & onions which the menu clearly stated as $2.49. The chicken had no flavor at all, it was supposed to have blue cheese crumbles, I found 3 tiny pieces of blue cheese. For $12.99 this was very disappointing. I also ordered banana pudding ( I should have checked the price). My banana pudding was the smallest portion I've ever seen, it was in one of those small single serving white dishes. It had no vanilla wafers at all. It just was ok. When I received my check I paid for my friends as well and all he had was a soup & salad at $9.99. My bill was $38.81. I was astounded! The single side that was listed as $2.49 was $3.49! The tiny little portion of banana pudding was $5.99!!! I was just astounded! The food wasn't that great and was outrageously priced. I was so disappointed, this used to be a really good place to eat. Our waitress was attentive as much as possible. My lunch and my friends cost $48.81!!! If it had been really good, the price would have been easier to swallow. I won't be going back.
The food was amazing!!!! You HAVE to buy some of their hot sweet pickels....o.m.g. SO good!!!
It's the best cornbread ever. I always have to get 2 pieces. Everything else is good too.
Great little homesyle meat-and-three place. Check their website for the daily specials as well as the perennial menu items. Wednesday's poppy seed chicken is excellent. The chicken & waffles are a popular daily item. They also have premade take-and-bake entrees and sides in the cooler cases by the checkout counter, and you can preorder family sized portions of popular menu items to cook at home. Grab a preorder menu at the counter. This is a converted historic home, so space is limited. They have only a couple of tables for parties larger than 4.
Awesome little place to check out. Great food
We ordered biscuits and gravy which were the best I’ve ever had and also a Belgium waffle for us to share. We will return often . Wonderful service also
Great home cooking! Make sure to try the homemade pickles!

I went to eat, I loved the restaurant, very cozy, very good customer service, they are very friendly, the food was delicious, I highly recommend it for a family bunch.
Not Service Dog Friendly, went Sunday morning beautiful day out, wanted to sit at a table in the front yard in the sun and was told that dog seating is only the table in the back covered in shade, I am not a vegan service dog owner, and I barely seldom pull the card, but I did this time and asked if there was anyway that me and my service dog could sit at a table in the sun and I was told no but she would go ask the owner if she would make a special concession for me, I don’t like that, I chose to leave with no drama.. the waitress actually quoted so-called Alabama law that states that they must have a designated pet area that includes service dogs also.
It would be nice if your hours at your website were accurate
