The girl who worked today around 10-11 AM was really racist and rude! They should choose there employees more carefully. I told her that I want a black coffee and she said "We're not starbucks we don't have black coffee!" (which they do) The way she answered with the attitude is not acceptable! The workers there should be more professional.
Good coffee and treats. Unfortunately, the associates will touch inside the coffee cups and lips then pour the coffee into the contaminated cups and secure the lids to serve to you. I watched as the cashier wiped her nose then touched the inside of the coffee cups and lids. I asked for new cups. The associates questioned why I wanted new cups so I explained that the cashier touched inside the coffee cup. The supervisor said that their hands were clean and joked if they should wear gloves. Maybe you should not touch the inside of the coffee cups and lids where we drink and place our lips after wiping your nose. Hands are not considered clean after that point of wiping your nose. Gross.
They should be more respectful about customers time. Should check the inventory before taking orders from customers. Happened to me twice that I ordered something and was waiting inside and they came back after 3/4 minutes saying that they are out of it.
I am a huge fan of their seasonal menus! The most recent thing that I tried was their Pina Colada Matcha (matcha with pineapple juice and coconut milk). The service is always friendly and the lobby is always clean. Be warned - there is not an abundance of public parking nearby. If you are driving in, I would recommend their original location on Ross Street!
Nice place to grab coffee before and after classes
I’ve been a few times and was never really a big fan of the taste of their coffee and espresso anyway but after my last visit I won’t be back. I ordered a plain black coffee and watched the employee go in the back and pour a cup then come out and microwave it to reheat it. If I’m paying $4+ dollars AND tipping for a plain black coffee then I expect it to at least have been made recently enough that it’s still warm. Admittedly she offered to remake it after she brought it to me but I’m pretty sure it’s only cause she saw me watching her microwave it.
