Benchwarmer's Coffee & Doughnuts

Me and my friends go here for a quick bite and talk..but recently I took my boyfriend and you could almost feel the negativity in the air. The owner doesnt greet anyone just has a miserable look on his face. Some of the employees have a snappy attitude , the coffee could be a little bit better but doughnuts are awesome and some of the employees are really sweet as well. I just don't like entering this place anymore cause everyone seems miserable.

Top notch doughnuts. A little crispy shell and soft doughy center. Highly recommend the butter rum glaze over the vanilla glaze. Coffee was ok not great but that maybe because I don't have great taste for coffee. Only thing I would suggest though is to ask that the doughnut comes out with the coffee. We were pretty much finished our doughnuts when the coffee came. Don't plan on getting a seat though... If you get there and a seat is open consider that a bonus. It's really small. Staff was very friendly.

One of my favorite spots. Their coffee is amazing. Adam roasts the beans himself right there in the shop. Today I had hot cocoa. It was also amazing and made of some of the best chocolate. I highly recommend this spot.

Located in West reading in the area of boutique shopping. Cute little coffee shop serving their own fresh roasted coffee, and amazing donuts. I had the pleasure of picking up a dozen of their home made doughnuts, which are huge, 2 lbs of coffee, and a caramel latte to go. Their espresso machine was a thing of beauty which produced a rich and crema the coffee was expertly roasted in house. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Love having such a rad shop close by. Yummy coffee and donuts - grabbed one of the donut fried chicken sandwiches and a latte this morning, had the most friendly customer service.

So many delicious doughnuts. Each kind is unique and you have the option to make your own. The owner is very friendly. The coffee is also very good. A must stop when in West reading.

We order these donuts when we want to impress! They are usually able to deliver as well which is super convenient. We've had them delivered to our office in Wyomissing, as well as at the DoubleTree downtown for events. If you order a variety you won't be disappointed!

I like raised doughnuts, but they tend to be so airy that you feel like you're biting into cotton candy. These have substance and they are delicious! Plus, they'll top them with any combination of their ingredients that you request and you pretty much can't go wrong. If at all possible, you should have your doughnut(s) while still warm--so good!

You will not find better doughnuts anywhere. My go-to is the fan favorite, vanilla icing with sprinkles, but I recently tried a vanilla icing with cherries - omg. Delicious!
