Benchwarmer's Coffee & Doughnuts

Bench warmers has become one of my new daily stops. I’ve been in a few times since I work at a buisness in west reading and I have to say that I’m so impressed by this buisness. They have the gooiest donuts, which are warm after I bring them home, and the most rich coffee. You pay for the quality of their craft. They also have amazing hibiscus tea and I bet all their other teas are great aswell. Love the staff and love the atmosphere of the place.

Plus I had the Chicken sandwich on a donut 🍩 also. It was great. Wife had funnel cake with chicken strips with dripping Carmel.🤤

The breakfast donut sandwiches were some of the best we've ever had. Good coffee and a nice little cafe. Not a very big place for winter time eating.

Benchwarmers is our favorite spot! Not only are the staff friendly and helpful, but everything we’ve ever ordered has been exceptional quality. Recently, we placed a large order of donuts for a birthday party and the staff at Benchwarmers were able to accommodate our request with only a few days notice. Everything was perfect and it was a huge hit with our guests! Our donuts were ready on time to pickup on a Saturday morning with absolutely no waiting or issues in any way. Ordering was easy and staff was very helpful and answered all our questions. We love that the donuts are now plant based. So nice to see a local business have options for everyone and they also carry gluten free pre-packaged items from another local bakery. Benchwarmers also makes the BEST lattes! They never skimp out on giving you the best quality at all times. All coffee and espresso drinks we’ve had are made nice and strong to perfection (no sad watery drinks like those big chains).

The pictures I’ve seen of this place don’t seem to match my experience, perhaps it is pandemic related. For example, I ordered the marshmallow doughnut, in pictures I see 4 toasted marshmallows added, but what I got was a handful of small cold marshmallows crammed into the middle.

The doughnuts themselves felt more like a bread roll. They are tall, yeasted doughnuts with very little sweetness. The icing was very good and helped bring it together.

The atmosphere seemed decent, but they need to have a clear menu showing the doughnuts. They had a drink menu visible, but while ordering we were desperately looking around to find the names of the doughnuts. Thankfully the cashier knew exactly what we wanted to order and helpfully rang everything up.

The coffee was very good and reasonably priced. I ordered a cold brew and a hot coffee black. Both were smooth.

The service was quick and polite. Overall, this is a good spot and I would revisit. I recommend just getting one doughnut as they are filling and heavy.

This place is fantastic, hot donuts that not only look epic, taste even better. They roast their own beans, so the coffee is incredible. If you haven't been here....GO!!!!

Most delicious masala chai tea with vanilla I've ever had and my fiancee had their dark roast, but the donuts classic vanilla and cookies and cream were to die for!!! They weren't a simple snack they were a completely filling dessert. I give it a 20 out of 10 and will be returning!!!

Awesome experience. Great coffee roasted on premises. Amazing made to order donuts. Everyone should stop by. Had an espresso drink and an iced coffee. Both were phenomenal. A friend of mine got a great custom donut. S'mores Donuts!

I occasionally stop in here because I love the cold brew. Today I got my first donut and omg it was amazing. Love that it was still warm and made to order and nice selection to choose from. Will definitely be my new place to get donuts.

Best doughnuts I've ever had! The owner is a very nice guy and the quality of the doughnuts are so good! The unique combinations of the doughnuts are amazing
