This was my first visit to Hobbs in years. I’m happy to experience a hardworking and friendly staff, even when they are a long line of customers. Great bagel and cold brew. Will make the trek out every time I visit PA.

Good service, fast, polite, friendly. Good prices; large mocha was 4.25, a bit lower than average. The mocha wasn't at hot as I'd like (need maybe more time on the steam wand), but not complaining, just feedback!

The service was nice. Quick and efficient. Meter parking. The food tasty. Staff was friendly. Coffee is very strong. I needed to add extra sugar. There are high chairs available if you ask. Prices were reasonable. I got eggs, sausage, cheese, toast, and a macchiato for around eight dollars.

I had a cappuccino and a scone. Coffee tasted over-roasted and stale, though the espresso was extracted well. The resulting cup was weak bodied with little depth and quite bitter with little acity. The milk was either understeamed or not whole milk, as it neither added complexity nor counterbalanced the burnt beans.
The scone was dense, bland, and demonstrated none of the characteristics of a scone. I can only think it was vegan, and if you think of it as its own treat instead of a scone it would be quite enjoyable.
What gave the Hobbs it's fourth star was the ambiance - it felt exactly what a coffee house ought to. The decor, the staff, and the pricing made me overlook the shortcomings and really enjoy myself.

Love the coffee here. The place is usually packed during the school year, but is still fine otherwise. Great breakfast sandwiches. If you're driving to Swarthmore, you'll need to park on the street - I *don't think* they charge for parking on the weekends.

Hobbs is a small and intimate coffee shop with a great ambiance. Love going here to read, work, or just relax - coffee is good and they have some great food options. I really enjoy their bagel sandwiches as well.

Definitely the best coffee shop in there area. They service ReAnimator Coffee from Philadelphia. I'm not a fan of their Sinister Blend, but the light roast is fine. To be honest, it's a little on the dingy side of things and it's not really obvious where to order when you are new to the place as people waiting for their drinks or food stand in front of the register. That being said, the locals and college kids seem to love the place as it is usually busy when I come.

Very cozy and laid back. Very much feels like a small coffee shop. Food isn't anything groundbreaking, just simple and tasty. Highly recommend if you just want to sit on your phone or laptop, chat with a friend, or just take a break.

Delicious breakfasts. Accommodates food allergies easily. Nice atmosphere. Bad thing is that even when at their busiest times they don't limit the time people can take for using their laptop/doing schoolwork while not eating. There are always at least one person +laptop taking a table meant for 4 and it's annoying that we've had to go elsewhere when there have been table hogs.

Bill comes up with interesting, cutting edge recipes and flavors at very reasonable prices. A great place for coffee and food, The outdoor grilling is very fun, but like most of the custom offerings, quantities are limited so get there early enough before they sell out.
