The Whale Tea Pennstate

The atmosphere is cute and it’s a good place to hang out with your friends for a little. My friends and I tried the milk foam strawberry tea, creme brulee brown sugar tea, and the signature milk tea. I liked the creme brulee brown sugar tea but I was not a fan of the signature milk tea. It definitely could use a little more sugar. The milk foam in the creme brulee and the strawberry tea was really good and the tapioca is very good, nice and chewy.

This place was a huge surprise to me. It was new and I was scared it was gonna be another expensive basic tea shop, but it blew my expectations out of the water. The tea is DELICIOUS and the bubbles are amazing. I haven't tried all the menu because there are so many options. If normal bubbles aren't your vibe, you can get popping bubbles and many other options as well. I would highly recommend trying this place and please tell your friends about it as well!

Aesthetic and pretty. The mango milk foam wasn't too sweet which was nice. The employee was really nice and even offered point cards for future visits and asked how we liked our drinks.

The milk teas are just assembling of food additives. All They do is simply adding water and ice to powders. Either hot or no ice charges more. Overall the products doesn't worth for the price at all. They are so brave on setting their price.

Wonderful place with super friendly staff. Always smiling and willing to answer questions if you're new. I've been addicted to bubble tea for a while now.

The drinks were mediocre. The creme brulee Oreo was mostly milk with minimal oreo flavor. The brown sugar fresh milk tasted like watered down milk with minimal brown sugar flavor. The creme brulee matcha was very bland as well.

My favorite is Brown Sugar Bubble Tea!!! So yummy! I love the brown sugar, the bubbles, and also the milk tea. The bubbles are very chewy and tasted, and very FRESH!

This is a new milk tea store. I ordered one taro fresh milk tea add tapioca. Very good tasty, taro and tapioca well together.

Another great addition to the boba selections of downtown State College. Authentically made boba tea with decent quality.
