Gasoline Street Coffee Company.

I hope everybody has a coffee shop in their lives like I have with Gasoline Street Coffee Company. It's funky while still being comfortable, quiet while still feeling energetic, and inexpensive while not being cheap. If your life ever takes you down to the extreme southern end of the Golden Triangle (right near the Allegheny County Jail), I highly recommend you stop by for an ideal coffee shop experience.

Super local feel and great service. Very clean and quiet. And the Oat Milk Latte was phenomenal! Highly recommend for a quick cup of coffee before work, or sitting with a friend.

This place was awesome!! Great atmosphere and great people and I was really impressed with the quality of the coffee. 5 stars for sure!

Came in and tried to sit down for a bagel and coffee, after putting in my order I was made aware I could not park a motorcycle in their lot. I really didn't want to have to pay for parking to enjoy a coffee, and coffee isn't good on motorcycles so I had to just go with the bagel. The entire time I was there it felt like they were glaring at me. The cashier was speaking with another customer so not as to interrupt, I tried to let the nice lady making my bagel know I would need it to go instead. That caused the cashier to intervene like I was going to attack her staff.

Idk maybe it was just this specific incident, but I didn't feel welcome at all. I just wanted a coffee. I got the impression of "regulars only" and also with the floor plan, "don't move because I can see you from the guard tower/cash register." I really don't expect much from coffee shops, except coffee, so if the impression in my mind is just to not go back after the first visit, that's bad service.

Very eccentric decor and creative coffee drinks. Iced vanilla mint coffee was good, pretty sweet. Americano left something to be desired. Juices/smoothies tasted very fresh and balanced. Would definitely return!

First: excellent coffee, which is the benchmark. Fast wifi, very cool space. Closest coffee shop to the GAP bike trail about a mile from the end, which is awesome - right down the plaza from Golden Triangle Bike Rentals. Service great. +++

Great pour over. Even better homemade oatmeal cream cookie sandwich. Get it get it!

Super cool shop w/ well-themed decor and friendly service. Loved the breakfast smoothie, others in the group enjoyed the coffee. Super easy access right off the bike trail

The most important thing: the espresso was good. Several non-dairy options. Friendly service. Being close to Duquesne, the younger customers give the place a sense of vibrancy

My search for good coffee in Pittsburgh led me to here and I have to say the service is REALLY good. We got a fantastic barista who quickly realized we weren't locals and then spent the next 10 minutes just talking to us about really cool places to visit in Pittsburgh. He ended up recommending some amazing places to look and admire. So I have to give him a particular shout out for being great.

As for the cafe, I really loved how they took the decor and just went crazy went with it. The place is open and has a lot of great comfortable seating among a lot of really interesting 'car' and 'gasoline' paraphernalia. You can easily find a cozy sofa seating and relax if you wanted.
The place is one of the better places I've been to and far faaaar more interesting than the sterile corporate places that have no personality. It is off the core downtown area but it isnt so hard to get and there is a lot of parking nearby.

We grabbed a few iced things since it was pretty hot that day... an iced Chai Charger and also an Iced Brew to go.

Iced Chai Charger - mildly spiced tea with a shot of espresso to get that caffeine kick going. I do appreciate how they didnt overload it with sugar but still had enough to temper the black the tea. I did find the spices on the light side and could have used more tea flavour too. It's a pretty good drink if you don't want an overwhelming strong flavour. 4/5

Iced Brew - It comes in a pretty cool looking bottle and quite a generous amount too for only $5. Ice brew should be always less bitter and acidic than brewed coffee. This one was more smoother than a normal brewed. I found it a bit light on the coffee flavour though but still a nice refreshing drink. 3.5/5

Overall, great place with really amazing service. A very good spot to hunt out if you're looking for coffee and near the end downtown core.
