Steel City Coffeehouse & Brewery

Steel city is a gem of a local coffee shop. Not only do they always have a wide variety of regular and seasonal coffee, they also have homemade pastries and meals. As a vegetarian, I love all their homemade vegetarian meat alternatives. The savory pastries are also a must! Don't even get me started on their beer offerings and events.

A great spot for coffee and food! I will say if you come on a weekend morning there is a bit of a wait. Definitely more a place to go if you have the time to take seat and eat in, but not for something to grab and go. I had to wait 30 mins just for a bagel. That said, it was a good bagel!

Always friendly, wonderful coffee and this time I tried a pastry! I often don’t get pastries when I’m out because I’m pretty good at making my own, but I knew I was never going to make scones with pistachios and cardamom....it was delicious!

this review is for the one bad review that steal city got. I was working the door as security and our atm did not work and we told people to go to steal city thinking they had one and they did not. Steal city is a great place for people to enjoy some amazing drinks and food but also a place that feels safe and welcoming. the owner is great and so r the people that go there. If you haven’t already check out their Thursday night open mic there’s amazing talent in that place.

Favorite coffee shop around. Best spiced chai tea latte I’ve ever had! Great selection for gluten and dairy free too. Cool atmosphere and quality food.

Such a kind, welcoming venue. Went for the open mic and enjoyed the variety of performances and supportiveness. Especially liked the stout and empanadas. Didn’t try any of the pastries in the case, but they looked beautiful. Parking was not a pain as I feared- there’s a public lot directly behind the building that you can pay by app or machine. Will definitely return.

Just wanted to update my review months later after some reflection, the service is awful. The owner is the rudest person I have ever encountered. Words can’t describe how awful it was across the board. Avoid at all costs. I have one google review and it’s this place that’s how awful it is. Update the owner is so sour he can’t let it go his business is trash. What great customer service getting back on the reviews maybe use it to improve your awful customer experience just a thought. But hey nothing can save your business look at the other reviews 😂😂.

I just recently started coming too Steel an I absolutely love it. I love the atmosphere everyone is super accepting an friendly here especially when performers are on stage. An the food an service is always great! Highly recommend coming here.

Best place in Phoenixville! Great food, coffee and vibes. Dog friendly and outdoor seating. Definitely the best place to stop any time of day. Will be back soon!
