Steel City Coffeehouse & Brewery

Steel City Coffeehouse & Bar is the perfect mix of alcohol and caffeine. Their coffee selection when I went there in December was perfect just as it is now. I liked the staff, the comfort of the place, the fact that is has character by having local artists' work on the walls to purchase, and so on. There are restrooms available. They also have open mic night and music on certain days. The coffee was delicious, and the pasties are to die for. If you're visiting Phoenixville, you gotta come here!

We went here during pride and even though the line was out the door, it definitely didn’t take long to get our drinks!! I got a dirty chai and my boyfriend got a mocha frappe and they were both amazing. I drank mine so fast because I couldn’t get enough :) when I’m back in the area I will definitely visit again! A must visit spot!! The ambiance was also nice, but loud. It could have been due to so many people there but not bad hehe. It also wasn’t that expensive at all!!

Went there hoping to have a good breakfast, but ended up only having coffee, as our order ticket didn't print in the kitchen and we had to leave after waiting for almost an hour. The wait staff/manager could surely be a little more courteous and customer centric while handling these kinds of situations, apart from just offering a refund.

Nevertheless the owner called back to discuss and apologized for the experience, which I truly appreciate! And yes we did get a $40 gift card for a future visit.

I hope we will have a much better experience, and be able to actually taste their food and review this place on a good note!

Got a decaf americano and some gluten free thumbprint cookies. The vibe is great and the staff are nice. I’ll definitely be a frequent customer. Edit - went again and got the gluten free breakfast flatbread - so good!! My husband got the pumpkin spice chai and that was also delicious.

Best coffee shop around! It’s a small place but the food and drinks are delicious.

Grabbed a table inside to sample a few things on the menu. Good lemonade, great coffee, and the chai tea latte (with almond milk to avoid lactose) was especially fantastic. The mood and atmosphere were cool too. They host live music and offer a really tasty and extensive variety of snacks/meals. They have a ton of options that fit within my dietary restrictions (pancreatic, low fat) so I'm looking forward to trying some of the food next time.

This lovely little coffeehouse and brewery was the PERFECT spot for my rehearsal dinner and afterparty from my wedding! The owners, Ed and Laura, were SO incredible to work with, accommodating, great communication and perfect execution! The food was phenomenal, the drinks were lovely and the experience was a true dream! 100% the place to be!

Great, fresh latte! The place was pretty busy (Sunday morning) and the service was unaffected. The food (NY Style Fried Egg Sandwich w/bacon on Rosemary olive bread) was amazing! Not too loud to have a conversation and lots of different sized, self-serve tables. A must stop & visit.

we have ordered here many times, and every time something goes wrong. either they don’t have something from my order, they messed up our order, or simply didn’t make our order. it’s a shame cuz we love this place but it’s EVERY time. hopefully they can figure it out :)

I cannot say enough great things about this place. My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner here and it was absolutely perfect. Laura was so responsive since we first inquired. The food was delicious- we had eggplant parm and lemon caper chicken and all our guests were raving. It was the perfect venue for toasts and fun! The whole team was so kind and considerate and I encourage everyone to consider having an event here!
