Shot Tower Coffee

Really 3.5 stars. A clean place with pleasant staff and nice looking, but with inferior indoor seating (outside tables are fine, if you can get one). The indoor seating consists of one giant table with hard, small, fixed position stools. Not easy to have a private conversation there, for sure. Also, they seemed to have turned their back on their own city to some degree.

Philly has such great roasters, such as Rival Brothers, Peddler, Greenstreets, Reanimator, La Columbe and many others. I fail to see the point (environmentally, taste-wise, or from the economic view of the city that we live in) of trucking in beans from roasters in distant cities that are no better. So guys, with respect, how about a little civic pride to support local artisans (at least a local, guest roaster "on tap" every day) like some coffee shops do?

By the way, I have no relationship with any folks in your business, by the way. I'm not even an artisan.

Great coffee and the staff is always nice. I don't live in this neighborhood so I ion''t get by very often, but as I was passing by todayit was worth stopping for... So I think that says something right there. :-)

Great ambiance. Great service but the coffee is bitter. I like the fact that they give sparkling water with the coffee. Particularly important to wast that bitterness out of my mouth.

Excellent vintage atmosphere. My wife and I thoroughly enjoy this coffee shop. It's a great place to relax with a book or bring your laptop and get some work done.

I love this place. Not only is the coffe great but the atmosphere is equally perfect. Having an nice setting as you drink coffe and tea is important as the quality of the coffee. The music playing is great as well.

Spacious coffee place, with high ceiling. We were here briefly, where I had regular coffee and a pastry, on our way via walking to a place where we're having dinner that night.. My friend had something different. I recall the service to be friendly.

Excellent shop for coffee and several espresso drinks. wide variety of pastry products offered and several tea options as well. Very friendly and courteous staff. Conveniently located.

Great coffee, service and atmosphere

The absolute best coffee and café. Great little pastries and sandwiches, lots of cool brewed caffeinated drinks, and plenty of other sweet treats. Very friendly staff, sweet tunes, and free WiFi.

Great neighborhood coffee spot. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere make this one of my favorite places to get a latte in the city.
