ReAnimator Coffee

ReAnimator is consistently one of my favorite roasters and coffee houses in Philly. This one is a smaller space, and as of this writing, they’re still not open for indoor dining. They serve consistently great coffee whether I am getting a pour over, the coffee of the day, or iced coffee. Love the vibe and coffee here!

Just amazing. The coffee is delicious - robust and complex flavor, never over-roasted - and VERY caffeinated. :D My family in other cities speaks so longingly about the coffee they’ve had here that I always pack some Reanimator beans for them when I go visit. The folks working here are always very helpful. I’m not a huge specialty drink person but every now and then I’ll get one of their fancier concoctions, and the PSL is truly so good, not too sweet, more like a spiced cappuccino with some real pumpkin flavor. The one exception is the Apple Jack, which I do respect as a big creative swing (apple/ginger/espresso/vanilla) but man!! does that one strike out. Still love this place though.

Ultra posh coffee spot with "eating is a social construct" type pastries and damn good whole beans for sale. Best coffee spot we've found ear Penn as of yet.

One of my fav roasters in Philly! Whether you like proper espressos or pour overs, you can never be disappointed here.

Great coffee and good atmosphere for getting work done. I wish it fit the vibe of the neighborhood a little bit better, but they're definitely making improvements as they get settled. The baristas can be hit or miss though, some are very friendly and welcoming, while others make it seem as if they really wish you hadn't decided to come in. Overall, though, I enjoy it and go back for a cold brew fairly frequently. Bonus: you can earn points toward discounts with each purchase!

The almond croissant is a must have! And their coffee is delicious. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte and it was so warming, spicy, and fulfilling.

Loved the vegan donut 🍩. I got my boyfriend the ham and cheese croissant and he didn't like it at all. Our coffee was basic not much to brag about. The people were friendly and had good customer service.
