Over all this place is extremely cute and cozy. I got there at the perfect time to enjoy breakfast. It got extremely busy which was nice to see. The staff remained friendly and pleasant throughout the rush. The only thing I will say negative is that my potatoes came out cold but other than that the place is fantastic. I'd definitely recommend coming here.

Coffee was great. The chocolate chip cookie was perfectly done. Breakfast burrito was also great. However be aware, they still serve food in plastic to go containers even if you are sitting in for breakfast. They also ask for tips before the food or coffee is even served.

I ordered a peppermint mocha and I loved that it wasn't overpowering but was still flavorful. Kudos to the quick service and friendly staff. If I still lived in the area, I'd visit more often!

I'm new to the town, so the fact that I was able to find a local place with good food, friendly service, great atmosphere, and in general just makes me feel happy to be here; I'd say this is a place every local or people passing through should try. The food is satisfying, the hot drinks are delicious, and the place just feels so inviting and friendly. I've been going here for a few occasions whenever I wanna go out for breakfast or brunch.

Previously I left a review that was basically not good…..HOWEVER. There are new baristas who have changed my mind! My last few coffees have been 10/10.
I still am not a fan of the aesthetic. The interior design for me is just lacking real hard and I still think that it could look way nicer and have a better and more trendy vibe but hey good coffee is good coffee and their food is good so that’s a huge plus.

Absolutely AMAZING!! The breakfast I had was so incredibly tasty, I know this will become a frequent stop for me.
It should be for you too! The toast I had on the side, and the toast my breakfast was served on, tasted as if the bread had been made that morning. So FRESH!
Semi-table service, allows you to order and pay at the same time, then sit at a table and have your food brought to you.
While enjoying fresh, hot coffee, I got to sit a the window and enjoy ,"small town" Americana. Dog walkers, small shops and friendly people made the time that much more enjoyable. The occasional slow moving local freight train, set the signals and gave that picturesque American vision to this community.
Walking distance to antiques, small home decorating stores and clothing, this restaurant is a great way to come out and enjoy a lazy day of soaking up small town life.
A MUST stop for anyone who loves small town america with delicious food to compliment it.

It is an overwhelming good feeling when you can still get a small town " welcome to our place" kind of a vibe whenever you visit a new place; Such was the case when I visited Rise and Grind Cafe for the first time. Despite the obvious struggle that the whole food service industry is going through, the folks in this place never waivered in delivering genuine care.
The cafe is in the heart of the borough that is going through a modernization but that old time country feel was evident as soon as you step in .
Since there was no dine in service available due to the pandemic mandate it still exuded a comfortable feel .
The owner Tina gladly took my order over the phone and upon my arrival I was greeted with a warm smile(obvious even behind a mask) and her colleague Laura engaged with me in a brief but heartwarming conversation.
I opted for their offering of eggs Benedict which is a must try; The faint hint of tang in the hollandaise sauce lent a nice contrast to the richness of the perfectly done egg over the soft biscuit and bacon. The soft and crunch contrast on their hash brown accompaniment was spot on ...the portion was generous as well. It'll be a must return to place for me, the warmth in the smile and friendliness alone was definitely worth the trek from across town.

Just learned of this place and tried it out. It's a really nice space, lots of comfortable seating for both lounging or dining - they serve a full breakfast & lunch menu. The coffee was great, and the service was very friendly and helpful. Our server said they just opened this past winter (December I think). I'd certainly go back!

Great coffee and local businesses sell everything from natural homemade candles, natural air fresheners, and local honey. Havent had any bad experiences in this shop.
