This is a very friendly, folksy place. Food was excellent.

This is one of the best out of the way cafes that we have been. We enjoyed our breakfast and visit with the wonderful hosts. We are making plans to return with family and friends for dinner. They get pretty booked. So plan very early. Best to call first.

Update: We enjoyed a most wonderful dinner last evening. Party of six - cabbage rolls,salmon and beef stroganoff. Desert- blueberry pie. Everything was excellent and the atmosphere was cozy. Prices were very reasonable.

Excellent cuisine, expertly prepared, friendly atmosphere and incredible nice host and hostess. Enjoyed every bite and really enjoyed the lovely little restaurant in a very cute cottage. We will return to sample more items on their incredibly different menu. I give five gold stars, would give even more if possible.... a local treat.. for sure...

This restaurant is excellent and I would highly recommend it! It is a homemade Russian cuisine and wonderfully prepared and delicious! My daughter took me for Mother’s Day on Saturday to this delightful place for dinner. The people that own this restaurant are so gracious and full of hospitality! I highly recommend!!

Amazing food, great atmosphere, friendly and welcoming owners. This place is an unexpected gem tucked away in a small rural town. Definitely worth the drive. Fyi: dinner currently requires reservations.

I have been going to Café Donira as a regular from the beginning of their opening, and I LOVE this place! I go every Tuesday morning, and I have been there as much as five times in one week. The owners, married couple Don and Irina, are so kind and loving to every single one of their customers. They make you feel at home as soon as you walk into their restaurant! The food is incredibly amazing! I’ve had everything on the menu, and it never disappoints. And the prices are extremely reasonable! I recommend this restaurant to everyone!

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Cafe Donira on its opening night, but you would have thought they had been in business for quite a while, given the excellent service and outstanding cuisine. Located along a beautiful country road in an old farmhouse, Donira offers a menu which applies Russian touches to familiar dishes in a charming, comfortable setting. Well worth the drive...and many return visits!

I've travelled a lot and lived in many places, and this is my favorite café... EVER. The food, the prices, the atmosphere, and the service are unmatched anywhere else I've been. I truly cannot recommend Café Donira enough.

Wow... just wow! Small little cafe in a beautiful wooded setting. Started with the mushrooms julienne, as if the homemade bread wasn’t spectacular enough - put some cheesy mushroom melt on it! Yum!! There were 3 different entrees at our table, not a single one disappointed! And don’t even get me started on the homemade honey cake or the baklava! Truly an awesome addition to the Bedford area. Not to mention the owners are sweet and such gracious hosts - thank you for a great dinner!!
