The Morning Grind Coffee House

The BEST way to start your morning! I’m not sure what the gentlemen’s name is who works here, but he always goes above and beyond. It’s wonderful to see small businesses thriving in our town :)

Great coffee and variety, pleasant work crew, very neat and clean inside. Location and lay out is strange though as it was a bank for many years, & Benscreek ? Not exactly a bustling town there, but hey the know how to work it ! Drive thru ATM in their lot too.

First visit consisted of a blueberry muffin, the Almond Joy roast for my own percolation, and an iced chocolate covered banana coffee. Both the muffin and coffee were delicious, and the muffin was heated for me with no issue. The atmosphere in the front room was spacious, bright, and clean. I love local businesses and am happy to see something like this in Johnstown.

I'm actually a very picky coffee drinker. This former bank was a pleasant surprise. The coffee quality was fantastic. The Ethiopian light brew was refreshing with a a hint of fruity notes. Excited to spot by soon and maybe take a bag home! Highly recommend!

They have a large variety of flavors available, but not really any cafe food options that I could find.

Atmosphere has become less like a typical relaxing coffee shop and more like a busy diner, complete with loud bustling regulars.

I went in on a Saturday morning to get some coffee and breakfast while I could read and wait for a phone call. It was so chaotic and loud that I just ordered a latte and left.

The latte itself tasted weak… not the worst latte but definitely more like water than espresso

Very clean establishment. Bathrooms are clean. Service is really good. It's great to see and coffee should, not involved in a chain, being ran so well. The seating area is also set well.

The BEST latte I've ever had. They have so many different flavors! The barista actually offered to change my order when PB banana caught my eye, even after I paid for a different latte. I ordered the peanut butter banana latte and this was hands down the best latte flavor I've ever had. 10/10 recommend. They also have decent bagels. The inside is well decorated. Could definitely see myself getting some work done here! And another bonus- the prices are GREAT!

Love the coffee here and love the people here. The team gives great service and fix an amazing Brew. If you like pumpkin spice coffee. I recommend. My Pumpkin Mocha was super delicious! Thank you for always having great coffee!
