Ikigai Coffee

Today I walked into this coffee shop for the 1st time and my immediate response was wow! The aesthetic was wonderful! The decor was beautiful simple yet beautiful. The service was A+ as well. Karen took my order and made my drink and she was very kind and pleasant! I order a new drink for mothers day which was called the mom bomb and it is delicious! It's a vanilla based frappe with layers of all the melons(watermelon,honeyew and even mango)! Its even topped with mochi bits! So flavorful so appealing. My photo doesn't do it justice. I highly recommend this coffee shop even if you aren't a big coffee drinker, they have other options available! If you are in the area and looking for a vibe and a coffee check this place out.

Stumbled across this little gem today, and I was not disappointed! The lattes were great, breakfast was unique and delicious, and the atmosphere was very trendy but laid back. There was a cute little rocking chair for little kids too. Staff was very friendly. To access it, you must go down a full set of stairs, so if you have a stroller or are disabled, consider using the door from parking garage instead.

Such an amazing place in downtown Hanover, PA! Ikigai Coffee Hanover, below the McAllister Hotel on York Street, has the BEST (one could not even dream this place) coffee and treats! I mean, way over the top, soooooooooooo delicious coffee and food! It's more than five (go 五つ ) stars! Out of all the coffee shops/cafe's my husband and I have visited anywhere, Ikigai far surpasses any! Go for the stars at Ikigai!

Ikigai is an amazing coffee shop. Must go. My fiancé and I come every Monday for coffee. We practically boycotted Starbucks because of how good the coffee is. What makes this coffee shop unique and better than chain coffee shops is their homemade syrups, super cool monthly flavors variety of drinks and of course they’re great employees. They always have a smile and answer all our questions we have. We care a lot about what we put in our body and we trust Ikigai gives us the best quality of ingredients possible in all their products.

Literally obsessed with their bubble tea! It’s the best I’ve found in PA so far. Service is always amazing and their food is pretty good too

My best friend and I came here every week for coffee to catch up and drink coffee. They always have interesting flavours and the chicken mayo wrap is super amazing. Their boba is also always fresh. I would most certainly recommend at least giving it a try!

This is hands down my favorite coffee shop! The coffee and food are excellent (the spinach quiche is my favorite). I love the ambiance of the shop, and the staff is so friendly that I find myself drawn to them all. I love supporting them and their mission.

They have 5 stars for a reason!!! EVERYTHING there is delicious. You can tell they put love into everything they make. 10/10 recommend the malva pudding, lattes and bubble tea!

LOVED my first impression of Ikigai Coffee! My siblings and I enjoy visiting cafes, breweries, bars, books & brews, etc., and admire the unique character, aesthetic, vibe, and details of each. Our first visit to Ikigai was a DELIGHT! The spot is modern, “industrial chic,” - simple, and very attractive! There were two baristas there when we visited - including Sasha, the owner. We were greeted quickly and warmly, and my brother and I began chatting with both women as we studied and appreciated the pleasing menu. My brother ordered a latte, and me a pineapple coconut smoothie - he was happy with the latte, and the smoothie was phenomenal! (With an eco-, turtle-friendly straw too!) Both women were lovely and we so enjoyed chatting with them! As we prepared to leave, Sasha sent us home with complimentary cinnamon buns!!! She began preparing two, and then generously asked “how many (people) at home?” Not wanting to be greedy, we just said two, and they were scrumptious! And beautiful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SPOT!!! Local small business with a stunning shop, yummy treats, and super courteous staff - what more could you want? (Plus Sasha’s charming South African accent to boot!)
