Ice Fest brought us in to warm up with a warm and delicious cup of Hot Chocolate. It was our first visit but it will not be our last. Everything from fresh loaves of various breads to great sweet and savory crepes, sandwiches and desserts. The wait staff was friendly, knowledgable and handled the festival crowds with ease. Desserts are incredible. I highly recommend the macarons. There are so many more crepes, sandwiches and desserts to try.

This cafe offers plenty of sweet and savory crepe options, tasty baked goods, coffee and tea selections, as well as dozens of macaron flavors to choose from. There are a few tables for outdoor seating as well as seating inside. This is a popular place for locals and college students to hang out for extended periods of time so finding a place to sit can be challenging. There is handicapped parking nearby however there is a step to get into or out of the cafe. The reason I deducted a star was because I recently decided to stop in and get a savory crepe for lunch. I got the smoked salmon crepe. I was very disappointed when I took the first bite and found that there were capers as part of the filling. Smoked salmon already is noticeably salty then by adding capers, it made this crepe hard to eat due to the shear amount of salt. I would suggest to make a whipped dill and lemon cream cheese schmear to put inside with the smoked salmon so you don't end up with a salt bomb.

Stopped for coffee and some cookies. Had Capp. Wife had the Latt.
Biscotti was a little soft they are supposed rock hard for dunking. I should know my wife is an Italian from New Jersey. The flavor was very good.
and the Macaroons ..... Well seemed like it was there specialty besides Crepes. We tried the espresso.... Tasted flat. Actually it tasted old like it's been in the refrigerator too long of a time. Next we tasted the pistachio. What a difference.
Like i said most times you get one chance to impress.
I am not likely to frequent this cafe. 🤢
I will not refer them to anyone.
The service was ok our coffees were made not instant and promptly brewed.
No hair nets in kitchen.

Macaroons were fantastic, with great flavor and a perfect texture! Oreo cheesecake was delicious - sweet but not cloying, with a smidgen of tart and that classic Oreo flavor! Will definitely be back again!

I am a HUGE fan of the sweet crepes and cheesecake. Their savory crepes aren't my favorite, but that might just be my personal taste. The food can be a little pricy for what you get, but it is good quality!

The quality used to be better. I used to always stop in for Macarons. I picked up 6 last weekend and a crepe. 4 out of the 6 macarons were hard as a rock. The 2 that weren't hard as a rock were tasteless. The crepe had a lot to be desired. It was basically eating a thin pancake with very little filling. I called in to let staff know about the horrible Macarons and all I could get was "thank you for letting us know". You would think for $2.12 a piece, i would've been offered my money back.

Helena's has consistently delicious food. From sweet crepes (nutshell and strawberries) to breakfast crepes ( I recommend the egg, sausage, and cheese). I also love the hummus plate. The coffee has always been fresh every time I've tried it. They also have really creative cheesecakes (like blood orange!) and cakes.
Most importantly, Helena's has the most enjoyable atmosphere in town. I've lived in town for a few years and have tested all sorts of cafes. The wifi is reliable. They won't whisper about how long you are staying if you decided to stay awhile. Tables are plentiful and music is not overpowering conversations. Water pitchers are on the counter. You can see into the kitchen and see it is very clean and great smelling.
I highly recommend Helena's.

This place is absolutely fantastic.
Great food and deserts at a more than reasonable price.
Customer service is above and beyond.
Nice clean environment, great space to study and drink some good coffee.
Also I commend Helen’s on their amazing 80s music playlist, it makes my heart very happy.
Keep doing what you’re doing.
Please don’t get sick of me being here everyday.

The previous reviews gave me high hopes for what was such a disappointment for a crepe lover. Arrived at about 4:30 on a Friday- the place was empty, save 2-3 other people, but yet half the tables and the floors underneath were dirty- and remained so even after they started filling up. I got a savory smoked salmon crepe and I had a few issues with it.1- oddest smoked salmon I have ever tried to eat. It was really oddly..cut? torn?.. into thick chunks that were fatty and chewy. I eat smoked salmon and raw sushi frequently so it’s not unfamiliar territory. 2- the crepe itself is a large circle folded into a small-ish rectangle that is hardly filled with anything; so you’re paying $10 for a mostly empty pancake pocket. They do have a friendly staff and the pastries *look* good, though I did not have any. This was a once and done for me.
