Fresh ingredients you can taste when you bite into them. If you like pulled pork, you are going to want to try this pita haha

TRY THEIR SANDWICHES! The Crispy Pulled Pork was incredible and the Fried Chicken Sandwich was solid too. They come with a side of kettle chips.

We came here not expecting anything much but oh my god! The food was beyond expectations. And of course get yourself a cheesecake or crepe afterwards for dessert.

The service was very friendly. One of the staff said they were under new ownership and the sandwiches are a new addition. We will be back again soon!

We love Helena's! The food is excellent and the desserts are fabulous. Out favorite is the carrot cake. Cozy place, not really loud so you can enjoy your company you are with. Staff are very friendly.

Amazing food, drinks, atmosphere & service. Personally, I'm not a fan of the buckwheat crepe at all which they use for savory options. That being said their fried chicken sandwich is incredible, among others. The sweet crepes are great but weird options. Very well done drinks, and everything is priced responsibly.

This has been one or my most favorite places for years! When I lived im Carlisle it was a spot my friends and I would meet up at for a treat-yo-self day all the time (and we never even had to break the bank)! Now that I live out of town, I make every excuse to make brunch dates happen here. They have gluten free crepes (buckwheat) and they really are just as good (richer crepe taste, even)! I usually leave with a box of macarons (also marked which are gluten free) because they're so delicious! My favorites are vanilla, cream soda, and nutella so far. I took my Mom here (also gluten free) for Mother's Day and she just loved it so much and couldn't believe the great quality right here in our hometown. This is a MUST visit gem and I hope it stays around FOREVER!

The first time I went the crepes were wonderful. Second time they were dry and crunchy. We decided to try a third time, thinking maybe it was an off day. Nope, third time dry and crunchy. Crepes are supposed to be soft and light, not hard and crunchy. They were more like tortillas.

The crepes and lattes were good. They have created a welcome and open space. They haven't quite perfected the art, but I'd go again.

I really wanted to like this cute cafe and I felt confident about it given reviews and it was busy when we came in on a Sunday morning. We were a party of three and all ordered savory crepes, turkey and provelone w/ red pepper mayo, a ham egg and gruyere, and a steak egg and gruyere. We also ordered hot chocolate with whipped cream, and drip coffee for a $30 total. It took about 10 minutes for our crepes to come out and they came out nice and hot and are made of buckwheat so on the thick side. The turkey and provelone was the best and ham egg and cheese second best. I would say avoid the steak and eggs it was horrible bland misc meat and just dry. I had to ask for red pepper mayo to salvage it but was not good waste of almost 9 dollars. The coffee was okay and the hot chocolate was tasty but not hot more lukewarm but I still drank it. Lastly, we decided to give their cake and cookies a try so we ordered the peach vanilla cake and an almond and a Nutella macaroon. The price per macaroon was $2.12 each complete rip off given how small and stale they were. It was very disappointing because they tasted like they had been on display all week. The cake was not dry just not great the frosting was very thick and had hints of peach. I'd say stick to the cheesecake they leave stuff out until it goes away so it's not fresh. Not a bad place not a great place but I get why people come to it as it's one of the few cafes on the mainline and it's close to the college so must attract a lot of students. I'd prob skip them the next time I come or try a sweet crepe instead. Staff was beyond sweet and the review is not a reflection of the exceptional and friendly service we received.

Love the house-made macaroons! Such a unique thing for this area. The latte and biscotti I got were pretty good too. Such a cute place, and with big windows to see out into downtown Carlisle. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
