The staff is very friendly and the food is delish! We got the chicken and brisket with potato salad and home made fries. The chicken had a marvelous smokey flavor, and was that bourbon I tasted in the brisket? Well done!!

They smoke their own meats in the morning. The ribs and brisket were fantastic…no sauce needed! Great kid friendly menu and awesome staff. This place is a must if you are staying in Waldport.😁

Came across this quaint little cafe in Waldorf. Owners were amazing and so friendly. The food was great with one of the best Monte Cristo sandwiches I’ve ever had. The brisket was very tender, not overly smoked with amazing flavor! We’ll definitely make the drive back for more amazing food!

Everything on the plate came from Walmart. It was either frozen, from a can, or you could find it in your cupboard at home. You could probably make it better too.

The saving grace of this place is the poor wait staff (Jamie I think?) held hostage by the worst cook that won't give her any plates to serve. She was amazing, and she deserves a better boss and job. It was sad that she had to ignore servers to finish our food because the cook either wouldn't or forgot again.

The head cook is a real piece of work. She's out there yelling at her servers for wondering where their hour-old orders are. When that isn't happening, she's telling them to figure out if they have enough food for some orders (that were already taken and presumably paid for), or yelling at her assistant cook.

After an hour, we had witnessed a circus. There was a parade of people (family, friends of staff) all over the place. They would either walk in, yell about their life and leave, or pass through the kitchen like it was a hallway. The people actually paying to eat there had to wait outside for far longer than us and I don't know that they ever got their food.

To-go orders are prioritized over those sitting in the restaurant (even if you've been there by far the longest), so be ready for that long wait.

Indoor seating was kind of gross. Stained tablecloths, flies everywhere, not the cleanest silverware.

Again, the food was rough. Mac n cheese was Kraft, chowder was not fresh or flavorful, just something out of a tin can. The hot dog was good, but that was about it.

Thank you Jamie for trying your best. I'm sorry you have to put up with such a bad workspace.

Good basic food cooked well. Food tastes fresh and the wait staff is friendly. Cozy indoor or outdoor seating with a view is available. All of this combined with affordable pricing makes for a pleasant dining experience.

Best kept secret on the beach. If you get to waldport or New Port make the trip. Great service but what sets them apart is their barbecue. You can certainly feed a large gathering with a full and half rib, with a whole chicken and 1 lb of brisket. We had a family of 5 and we had plenty of leftovers.

Yes we had homemade potato salad and corn to go with the meal but we are going back for seconds tomorrow. Cheaper and a lot easier that doing it yourself.

Great barbecue! My wife and I have eaten here many times. I take friends here too. The place and owner (cooks and does everything) are quirky, but never unfriendly. If you want down home good food, this is the place. If you glitz and a smiling wait staff, go to a bigger city.

This is one of those rare, off the beaten path, finds of tasty comfort food and down home atmosphere. Good food and lots of it. Friendly staff and an owner that loves to engage and chat with customers. A place that puts the "fun" in funky.
