Good Coffee

This is one of the few Portland-quality coffee shops (not to mention roastery!) around. The people rating it low are used to Folgers or frappuccinos…because that’s pretty much all you could get out here until Good opened. The coffee is excellent, well made, and staff is superb. Mika always makes a point to ask about my day and chat. The space is beautiful and they have a huge sunny, dog-friendly patio as well as a large covered outdoor seating area.
The prices are high comparatively for Troutdale but reflective of the high quality, excellent service, ethics of the company, and on par with what you’d expect to pay in Portland.

My favorite coffee shop in Portland opened their Roastery Cafe location in Troutdale (October 2021). Such a gorgeous space. The kind and friendly service matched with the high level of coffee precision cannot be matched (in my humble opinion). Thanks Good Coffee for going above and beyond each and every time!

Super friendly crew with some of the best dog park tips you can find. The space is airy and open while still affording some privacy. Being able to see into the roastery is *always* cool. Very consistent cortado quality too. Oh, and hey, take home some beans that benefit a local charity.

One of the baristas recommended a sarsaparilla anise latte. Good recommendation.

Epic! Wonderful coffee, pastries and matcha latte. Their espresso has a bold, classic, dark roasted, full flavor. I loved it and my wife really enjoyed her matcha latte. Boys had a couple pastries...wonderful coffee stop on our leisure drive through the area. Highly recommend!

Always tasty coffee. You can taste the higher quality in the drinks that are made. The baristas are friendly, and they usually have one or two fun seasonal flavors that are unique and delicious.

Good coffee is some of the best coffee Portland has to offer. Plus the location and how close it is to the freeway really makes it difficult to pass by. As of today, no indoor seating available just yet. Never explored Troutdale, but this would give me a good excuse to get some coffee and walk around.

Friendly staff, classy atmosphere and excellent espresso. I'm a barista myself and I give this place 5 without a doubt.

Horchata latte. Very fresh and great employees.

Service is great, coffee is good (both no frills brew and speciality beverage), and the indoor/outdoor seating and setting is casual and comfy.
