Sea Star Gelato

Ooh my goodness. This is the most amazing place in the world. They make all their own gelato and it literally melts in your mouth. My hubby and I love Astoria and seaside oregon. Everytime we go there we stop and get gelato. I had orange blood last time. Was great. Have different flavors all the time. It's very busy in the summertime. If want to avoid lines either go in spring or fall or winter. it's nice to walk on beach in fall or spring

Highly recommended! Such nice people and so many delicious choices (I'm pretty sure we ordered close to 8 different selections). They have non-dairy sorbetto too!

Fantastic gelato with tons of unique flavors and good portions. I got the amaretto which was amazing, and every flavor we tried was delicious. My daughters got bubblegum and cotton candy, and even those were really good! A sign said their gelato is made in-house. A lot of the flavors were hard to figure out what was in them, and it might have been helpful to have a short description under the flavor names. One of them looked like orange chocolate but was actually orange black licorice! Luckily they give out samples, but they might be able to save some of their samples with flavor descriptions.

We walked in at 8:15 PM without realizing it was so late, and even though there was a large line (and they had closed 15 minutes earlier!) we didn’t even realize they were fully closed based on their excellent service. Most places would get pretty grumpy (I would!) but these employees were super nice. We only realized it when they were locking up when we were going out the door. So don’t make the same mistake we did— check the hours before heading in!

Their sign is not wrong this is the best Gelato in Oregon. So many flavors its so hard to choose, regardless you will not be disappointed I promise!

Family, friends and myself adore this place. It's a must go to when they are in town visiting and it's always a great spot in all seasons. Gelato isn't just for summer. Flavors change all the time, staff is great. Unique flavors

Love love love this place! I swear this is the best gelato EVER! and super friendly stuff loved the place where you can seat and enjoy an awesome ice cream my husband loved his too very tasty and totally natural thats the best part. I wish they had one like this back in Seattle. But im sure we'll be back : D

Best gelato I have ever had. I had the double expresso, and it was fabulous. Very strong coffee flavor, this is how all coffee ice cream and gelato should be.

The waffle cone was delicious and very sturdy. It held up just fine, and wasn't overly brittle like some can be.

The dark chocolate gelato was very rich, just perfect!

Totally worth standing in line for 25 minutes.

When the line is out the door, you know it's gotta be good!
